  • I am having the same problem. Want to lower the level to bring in a specific player. Can change to Restricted, but not lower the level.

    I thought I had broken a screw in my brain for the last two weeks with this issue. I thought I was imagining the issue until 10 minutes ago when I again went to confirm settings and found it had reverted from completely off back up to level 40. I've lowered it a dozen times. Thank God this is actually a THING and others are having it. Thought I was going Looney Toons.

    Welcome to the Looney farm with the rest of us!! What fleet are you in?? Hoping they fix it really soon!!

    The maintenance on Tuesday is unrelated. It should happen soon though, again I appreciate your patience while we work on this.
  • My fleet has been having this problem for a few months now, and it's making recruiting utterly frustrating!!! I'm the admiral, I should have the ability to change the member level requirements for new joins if I choose... the game DOES normally allow for that. But I can change it now and hen immediately refresh the game, and it reverts back to the same one it was before the change!

    This is DEFINITELY a problem with the game: whether you use a laptop, desktop, iPad, phone or tablet, no matter how you connect to the game or WHO in the fleet makes the change.... the results are the same!

    I sent DB a help request on this matter, and was only met with a "this is a known issue that we're aware of, but we don't have a fix for it planned anytime soon"

I have numerous other former fleet Admirals who joined me, and we have a world of knowledge and experience to share with you. Sure, we all love the game, and we enjoy playing it often; but we're also a fun family of kooky friends from around the world, who enjoy playing the game together. On top of playing, we also hang out often and share plenty of good laughs, an excellent supportive environment and one another's company.

    It's OK if you don't play every day. You don’t have to be a daily player, but the more you play the more fun you’ll have with us. So long as you let me know ahead of time whenever you know you're going to be offline from the game for five days or more, I won't kick you for inactivity. You can send me that message on DISCORD at any time you need to; it takes only a moment. That rule helps keep our fleet as active as possible.

    All Captains MUST have a name other than just “Captain” so that others may recognize you. We have no drama, but instead are a close-knit group of good people who treat each other as if we’re both friends & family.

    WE’RE ALMOST ALL VERY HIGHLY ACTIVE, and help is never far whenever you might need it, at any stage of the game, nearly 24/7. Whatever your skill level, we can help you.

    If you are interested in joining our fleet, please feel free to message me and I will be glad to assist you.

    Free steak & Lobster available from our resident chef upon joining (alternate meal suggestions are possible), drinks available through our in-house bartender/barista/host. Please be sure to tip your wait staff. They're nuts, but they're worth it.

    That is not exactly what you have been told and as you can see in this thread we are working on it.

    OK we might have a fix for this.
    Please restart your game and try to change the level requirement and see if it sticks. Thank you!

    Was finally able to change/save correctly for me/my fleet.

    No, this problem came up only a few weeks ago... at least for our fleet. Im changing lvl req. quite often so i would be aware if it was there "for months"...

  • Thanks. Just checked and it stays put. Also, checked with the level 9 account and the fleet shows correctly there.

    Yes, the issue appears to be fixed. And the people spreading the false info that it started months ago. It did not. It was after the last update, stop spreading lies.
