VIP 14 PARTY!

Bylo BandBylo Band ✭✭✭✭✭
Greetings all, and welcome to the Bylo Band VIP 14 party thread! Last night I hit the milestone and to celebrate, I cracked open a whopping 65 10x premium pack pulls that I've been saving up to mark this occasion. I spent hours cracking them all open, taking screenshots, and organizing all the results into folders to make sharing easier, so I hope you have a good time checking out the results! As referenced elsewhere I did make a single mistake documenting the results (I do not have a screenshot of the full 60th pull result, but I did get both the beholds for the 60th pull, and that is more interesting anyway)

This is going to take me quite a while to post all the results, so I would ask that people wait until I have completed setting out the spread to post replies. I have organized the results into groups of 5, so I will be making 13 additional replies to this thread just for the pull results, and I will announce when I have concluded posting the results.

So without further delay, let's get cracking on these packs!

(Remember, please wait to post replies until I have completed posting the results. I hope this process will not take more than a few minutes, but I am going to take my time to make sure I get them all in the proper sequence)

OK gang, there is the last one! Thank you all for being such awesome friends on the forum, I hope you enjoyed this tour of how I destroyed my brain last night!

You're darn right I did. Thanks for sharing!
  • Hey @ByloBand any chance you've already compiled data on your results?

    I counted Nine begolds

So just one extra over the mean. But at least it was on the plus side.
    65*0.127=8.255

    Congrats on VIP 14.🎆🎇🎇🎆

Edit: Those choices were mainly science and engineering.
Going to take some time to level I figure.

I have to say I would have picked the same begold choices you made.
Timicin would have been hard to pass on but Barclay would have won out in the end.
This is based on having the options you had as far as star levels of all those begolds.

Thank you for reminding me, I forgot to list the criteria I use for making behold decisions. Whenever possible, I always take the choice the gets me closest to FF'ing a crew. If given a choice between 0 stars, 1 star, and 3 stars, I will take the 3 star 100% of the time.

When there is a tie on stars, I favor crew with 3 skills over crew with 2 skills.

If there is STILL a tie, I adjust slightly for Gauntlet usefulness based on prior experience. I'm not going to spend time looking each card up when I have so many packs to open, but if I can break up a deadlock by going with a card that has been kicking my butt in Gauntlet, I pick that card.

If there is STILL a tie, I factor in coolness. An example of this was Satan's Robot. I had a tie situation there and since Satan's Robot was easily the coolest card there, the choice was easy.

If there is STILL a tie, I go with either main cast or else crew I personally like. That situation came up once or twice, and I can live with my choices.

As to all the Sci/Eng leveling, I prioritize farming science and medical experiments, so it really isn't too tough TBH.
  • 64 3* schems
    64 4* schems
    69 5* schems
    374 3* crew
    71 4* crew, 34 of them beholds
9 5* crew, all of them beholds

Even with so many helpful 4*s, that's a long way toward a 5* citation as well!

Congrats on getting so many final stars on 4* crew! That will help free up plenty of slots.

    Welcome to Fourteen Forward!!!!!

Some awesome pulls there. I would have used the exact same criteria for Satan's Robot, as well!!!!!

I guess crew compliment would make a difference on which begolds to pick. Nice work though and congrats. 🙂

It's almost hilarious, but I was so hyper-focussed on the task at hand, this thread is just as useful for me as I honestly don't remember hardly any of the cards I got!
  • Congrats!
  • Congrats!! That must've been fun. Now time to Immo them all....

Thanks for sharing Bylo. I say averaging 1 begold per 10 pulls is reasonable and you achieved that.

Also, I can't believe you passed on Katrina Cornwell.

    Congrats!

I am not VIP 14 yet but getting close (10750 away).

In contrast, however, there were 5 4* cards out of all 65 packs that would add a star to any of my crew.
