In the game, I see Thrax being one of three distinct options:
1. Thrax is himself, the Cardassian soldier who was once head of security on Terok Nor. He should not have the Changeling trait and should not be linked to Odo in any way.
2. Thrax is from that particular DS9 episode, in which case he is purely a figment of Odo's imagination/sub-conscious. I fail to see how he could even exist as a crew member, but Admiral Picard exists from Riker's imagination/sub-conscious. These characters should be given a new trait like "imaginary" or "dreamed". I suppose he'd still have the Cardassian trait, but he shouldn't have the Changeling trait, nor should he be linked to Odo in any way (Admiral Picard isn't a Riker variant).
3. Thrax is a STT original character, based on the real and/or remembered Thrax from DS9, who will be revealed to be a Changeling in disguise. He should be part of the STT Originals collection, and he should have multiple traits such as Changeling, Disguised or Undercover Operative, and maybe Cardassian (does Changeling Bashir still have the Human trait?). He still shouldn't be linked to Odo in any way.
I think he should be variation #1, which is why I disagree with the Changeling trait being added. This game is larger than a single episode, and Thrax existed as himself regardless of what Odo's inner guilt revealed subconsciously.
Bashir got pulled from Timelines Originals. No word on Thrax taking his place, yet.
He won't, and shouldn't. He appears in the episode exactly as he appears in game, under the same name. That is not an original creation, no matter where DB story shenanigans ultimately place him.

Okay. Have a nice day.
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
a) Thrax, the actual Cardassian individual
b) Odo's memory of him
c) A random dominion changling infiltrator
d) Odo shapeshifted to look like Thrax
e) Odo's imagination/dream/hallucination of himself as Thrax
f) Actually his KCA counterpart
g) A hologram of the Cardassian individual
h) A dream in the mind of a napping tribble
i) A cartoon virus that infects Bill Murray
What if at the end he changes into Cheesecake Seven!?!
Forget cheesecake Seven, when do I get my gigolo, substance abusing, 9 foot tall, augment, Borg, sausage, Bacardi and Coke Admiral Data (timelines original)?
Seriously, what he said except possibly swapping out the bacardi with captain morgan...
In exactly that way you brush off everyone who "dares" to have a different take on things than you.
In case you really were a firefighter full respect for that: Putting your life on the lines to help others deserves only that.
In here all the contrary, how you react all the time is very immature: Star Trek and this forum are for everyone - and everyone has a different take on it. This is not, despite you wishing for it to be, the "Scott is always right" show

Or maybe it’s his way of not escalating an argument any further? Scott and I didn’t see eye to eye on something early this week or late last week, and instead of degenerating into a fight, we went our separate ways. It was nice, in retrospect, and something I wish I were better at myself. We don’t need to give Shan a reason to remind us of the community standards, again.

I know what I have done in my life. No "if" about it.
"Have a nice day/night" means "I do not wish to argue about something that is pointless any further." Any other slant you put on it, happens in your head.
People want him to "be Odo", let him be Odo to them. It sure is not worth arguing about. And it definitely isn't worth attacking people about. At least not to me.

I'm glad you get it. Reassuring that someone does. (To be honest, I don't even remember us being on different sides of something. Probably because we did get all hostile and mean to each other over it. We just kept enjoying the Forums, and I, at least kept enjoying your posts.)

Edit: oops forgot the last two let's just make them.
Y) All the above
Z) None of the above.
