If you need pulls Banjo at the end of the mega there will be packs for 390 dilithium! I am gonna buy a bunch!

Good call, @(HGH)Apollo . But i would like to point out that you can buy tiers of the campaign for dilithium. I don't know what the exchange rate would be for the honor equivalent of the citation. And the four Leland's, if you're determined to airlock them.

We still wont know everything about the campaigns till it starts on thursday. I think you have to buy the premium campaign for 9.99 to be able to move the premium track with dilithium. Is that what you meant? You could certainly do the regular campaign and dilithoum your way to the super rare citation.

  • Truth be told I probably would'n't consider buy anything deals today since I made up my mind regarding the campaign.

I was thinking about that. I’m debating with myself cuz I was saving my dilithium stash for a faction run. Decisions, decisions

I havent cited Thrax, or the new Bashir, and there will be a 3/4 from the skirmish. So I think buying a bunch of mega wrap up pack for 40% less dilithium than regular packs sounds good to me. Tempted by the 3900 10x pack but not sure. Is it worth the value? You are only guaranteed one legendary. Do you get beholds on all the super rares?

Sounds like you are set up well to take advantage of those packs. I forgot another part of the equation is if I just have a little patience I can get the honor I need from the skirmish. That too will cut into my dilithium stash. UGH!!! What to do?

I'm still floored that some people don't do the dailies. I have never once failed to do them all, not once.

I would think if you’re in a fleet it would be expected if you’re going to take advantage of the starbase bonuses.

Ive only ever not got them done if I've had a uber busy day IRL or on vacation visiting friends/family don't always have internet access through out the day... I honestly don't know how some people play as much as they do having family as well :D being single I only have my self and my job to worry about most of the time :D

Dailies take a lot of time because you cannot just do them all in five minutes. The scans take a long time as does the voyage dilemma sometimes.

I was open and honest about my not doing dailies and such before I joined the fleet I am in. They knew I cared little for dailies and the rewards and only lived for events and hoarding for said events. They knew what they were getting and they still wanted me to join so I said hell yeah! I do contribute some cuz I do the cadets, about 10 now with ads, except on Tuesdays and Sundays cuz I don’t need that junk. I usually do all 10 arena battles as well because I can max the ships with thecrewards the last few months. Next month too. Scans I do as well. Great source of free transmissions. Other than that, I ignore the dailies but I always have about a total of 100,000 starbadd components so I donte the max sveryday.
  • In theory, if my math is right (never a given), you could do all the dailies in 2 10 minute sessions, if you are willing to forgo doubling up cadets and are willing to burn an ad watch on a scan.

Even without using an ad to double up on a scan, three logins across six hours really isn’t that challenging unless you’re deprived of a good Internet connection. Five or ten minutes for the first login, five minutes or less for the other two...I feel incredibly bad for anyone whose life is too hectic to spare a few minutes here and there over the course of an entire day - you deserve a little “me time” as much as anyone.

There's a difference between "me time" and video game grinding to some people. I am not one of them, but I know they're out there and I respect that. I just happen to be in the crowd that gets satisfaction from digital rewards for the grind.

Yep. And if you're pressed for time, you can do it all in a touch over 3 hours. I've done it when I haven't been able to log in until late at night. But stuff happens, and I can understand why someone might not have time in a given day.

If you're already doing the 10 arena battles and 6 cadet missions, even without using any extra ad-warps, you could fulfill the daily requirements by burning only 96 chrons. If you could get on to take advantage of even 4 ad-warps, then you could complete dailies with a couple warp-10 clicks (80 chrons). If you're regularly running voyages and shuttles, you could run an ad-warp every time you login to get your number of required missions down.

Since you could invest those chrons in pre-farming for common galaxy components (you'd only be 'losing' 20-24 chrons by using them without having a supply kit active) as you gain all the benefits from daily achievement rewards and campaign rewards, it doesn't seem like much of a waste of resources at all.

If you're able to login to the game more throughout the day, you can actually complete your dailies (including doubling all 6 cadet missions and taking a second free Dabo spin) without spending a single chron. I just open the game for a minute or less every half-hour to take advantage of all the various ad-warps, which allows me to maximize my free rewards without 'wasting' any chrons at all.

The daily honor alone works out to 73,000 honor each year, without even considering all the other potential rewards you'd accumulate from daily achievements and campaigns. It seems like a big price to pay to save 20-24 chrons (at most) each day. Of course, to each their own, but I just thought I'd share another perspective for newer players...

You’re not taking into account chrons burned leveling crew every single day. And 1.5 legendary citations worth of honor per year is not motivation. Every chron is precious in a galaxy run.

If you hang on to some 1*/2* crew from basic 10-packs, use ten 1* trainers (satisfying both the ten-trainer and three level requirements) on them and equip only one of the items. With smart choices for items, there really isn’t an additional chron cost involved - you’d be using up detritus that accumulates from Galaxy farming. You can then toss ‘em out an airlock after they get their one item, or equip the others, throw another ten trainers at them, and then send them out into the black. Even as much as you participate in Galaxy events, surely you must have a credit surplus that needs to be converted into honor through those basic 10-packs, right?

I understand the value of chrons, especially when you're making a run at winning a galaxy event, but we're talking about a net 'loss' of 24 chrons or less each day.

For the daily crew levelling requirement, now that I often find myself with no crew to level, I'll combine those 3 requirements with the portal purchase requirement. I'll buy a 90k 10-pack, use 10 basic trainers to level up one of the useless new crew I received in the pack, equip one item that I have a huge stockpile of, then airlock that crew member. That is 4/11 daily requirements completed without spending a single chron or using any useful items from my inventory.

All I'm saying is that if you already play the game enough to complete 10 arena battles, 6 cadet missions, 3 scans, and regularly run voyages and shuttles (5/11), it should hardly take any effort or resources (ie: far less than even the 24 chrons I suggested) to complete the 2 outstanding daily requirements (10 space battles & 14 away missions). Not only would you receive all the rewards from completing your dailies, but that would also put you on the path to receive all the benefits related to the new campaign feature. If there are any chrons available as campaign rewards, that would further negate the investment of whatever minimal number of chrons you'd have to spend to finish your dailies.

Pre-farm any ship missions during skirmishes, use the chrons for away team only missions that have no ship battle option. That is the key to galaxy success

Yes, in weeks where I don´t want/need to level seriously I do it like that as well as a mild on resources way to complete the dailies...
