What are your thoughts / suggestions to keep the campaigns fresh so they don't become the new voyages?

I’m not sure having single copies of multiple crew would go over well. The slot-challenged would be unhappy about having to airlock or freeze people at an advanced rate and the value for the rest of us would be severely diluted unless we had whatever crew were offered at 3/5* or 4/5*.

I like the idea of the reward crew being newer than the latest portal update. I also really like the idea of the 5* being someone I already have at 1/5.

And because I'm me, I favor crew from either VI or DS9. I was hospitalized when the event with Army Chaplain Odo ran, so he's a glaring hole in my collection. Pair him with Prince Bashir for an Original Niners month and check off some stuff for me.

Unless it was a last 4 events recap campaign sort of thing, but even then there maybe ones people skipped/missed rank on. I think it would lose sass appeal more than gain it.

The next super rare I'd like to see in the campaign table is Smuggler Yates or maybe LT Ash tyler because he's been sitting at 1/4 for ages now.

i too would like to get my hands on a first officer burnham but I think she's a bit premium still for this type of thing.

I think it might be fun if DB picked a few themes and let us have a Fan's Choice Campaign, like they've done with Mega-Events. I'd want to know which specific crew were in mind before voting, though, and not just a theme title.

We could have many months worth of campaigns using the "Mirror, Mirror" theme. Pick a character and include a regular version and a mirror version of themselves, to satisfy the 5*/4* requirement.

That, and currently the only Cochrane versions are all 5*. Unless Metamorphosis Cochrane is introduced as a 4*, he wouldn’t work as part of a mirror campaign feature.

Some of the mirror crew have truly terrible stats and art -- like Mirror Sisko and Mirror Archer -- so I hope they choose wisely. Need to be either beloved crew and/or solid stats-wise. Even though I already had her, I thought Section 31 Philippa was a perfect choice in that regard -- beloved character, good stats. Even better if it's a crew few of us have -- like Fugitive Spock who was only offered in a pack previously.

Looking a bit further down the road, Star Trek: The Motion Picture turns 40 in December. I imagine a weekly themed pack is in order, but a Campaign could work, too. Present choices:

Ilia Probe
Kohlinahr Spock

4*
Commander Barak
Doctor Chapel
Drafted McCoy (just appeared in an event last week as an already existing 4*)
Lieutenant Chekov (not in the Portal yet; expected for August update)

Agreed. Hard pass. It might be fun for us to come up with themes as fans, but as a player, I don't want any part of death by slot strangulation. At best, I might get four or five 2/5's. I'll take one 4/5 and a citation every time.
