Regarding the 10 for 10 pack offer that went live on Sunday, for a certain amount of time it was incorrectly awarding extra items. This has been corrected a few hours later.
We will not be awarding the extra items to those who purchased the offer after it was corrected, the advertised content were granted correctly.
If you bought the offer solely in the hopes of getting the unadvertised items, as a gesture we can refund the purchase for you.
Additionally we will of course investigate why this happened.
You guys crack me up. Every time you make a mountain out of a molehill, it makes it that much harder for DB to take its players seriously when something actually "unacceptable" happens.
Either you got what you paid for (10x10), got what you paid for and 1/5th of a crew with average power who's been 2x bonus in 1.3% of events.
Or you tried to game the system and buy an offer expecting something that was not advertised. If you bought it expecting Annorax, you knew what you were doing and lost this time. There's no pleading ignorance when this just happened a couple weeks ago with Georgiou and yesterday's offer said nothing about an Annorax.
They should have just left him in for the duration of the offer. Who bought it would have got him and who didn’t wasn’t going to buy it anyway
Agreed, just as you can say it was people trying to game a bug, equally it drove sales.
Everyone who bought the 10x offer should get an Annorax, and DB should learn that occasionally sweetening the pot on the quiet is a neat marketing technique, depending on the legality of doing so.
That solution feels equitable to me, and the closest thing to fair that is realistically achievable.
Well this is dumb. I bought the deal, even though 10x10s are almost always useless to me (as in today - zero crew I could use), and didn't get Annorax, which was entirely why I'd taken the leap.
That ain't right, man.

It seems a great amount of ppl jumped at this offer bcuz of the hidden “extra items” bonus. Maybe you should investigate how to do this more often rather than making it stop. It would be extremely profitable. It seemed like a legitimate easter egg purchase.
People were excited and a large amount of purchasing took place in a short amount of time for an offer that most intended to ignore.
If I were DB I would not even refund the purchase. Those who got good stuff will remain silent and those who got honor will want their money back.
As mentioned already: Everybody got what was advertised, some early adopters got some more. Buying a pack with the intention to exploit a bug and then complaining that the exploit did not work any more is beyond me.
Let me add that this teaches the community the lesson that intentional exploit goes unpunished. I did not buy the pack as I assumed it was a bug, and the 10x10 alone was not attractive enough to buy. But what I learned from DB's reaction now is that exploiting is fine anyway. This is pathetic.

More often? Then we'll hear complaints about getting a free 5* that someone already has immortalized and blaming DB for not considering their personal roster when awarding a bonus to everyone.
"How could DB give out a free ________ to everyone when I've already spent $$$$ to immortalize them! How dare DB not ask me what I want before giving us something that they did not have to give us in the first place - Complainer, probably

George said he didn’t get any bread. The Soup, I’ll say guy to avoid controversial, said you want bread? Two dollars. George said but she got bread. Soup guy then replied three dollars!!

This happens far to often. Players getting a free gift while others don't. I bought this pack for the first time in months thinking this a new deal DB was now doing. I got no Legendary boholds in this pack so getting Annorax sort of makes up for this. I got to the point that I don't need any super rare crew in packs now. I not buying these packs just to get honour. Which means I will no longer buy this type of offer.

In this case, with this card, it could have been a legitamate easter egg offer. Considering the duration the card has existed and that in early june they already offered a purchase of this card in a special offer for $9.99, all purchasers did not intend to exploit a glitch. Some thought it was legit un-advertised gift. And there should be no complaints on this card due to the prior offer.

I for one bought the offer and am happy with what I got. Some of you got an extra bag of chips out of the vending machine when it went wonky, good for you. My gosh I’m amazed at how overcomplicated some of these comments made things.
I did not get Annorax, and I’m cool with that. Sure I would not have minded one but I don’t feel entitled to one.
For my part I’m waiting on opening these packs until the portal update when I’m hopefully less likely to get dupes.
I don't think intentional Easter Egg offers are a good idea, but given how often this happens and how many people buy the offers hoping to get the hidden 5*, why not make offers that actually (officially) include an old 5*?
For a year the 10x10 packs where my favorite offer and generally the only one that I used to buy. Now they are mostly honor for me and I have no reason to waste money on them. But if they came with a guaranteed 5* (make it an old weak one) that I like or that I already have some stars for, I would probably buy them again.
Given how many legendaries there are in the game and how weak most of the old ones are if compared to the new ones, it wouldn't add too much value to the content.
I got the Annorax before I bought the 10x10 pack, so the Bug maybe somewhere else.
This I find more irritating than the fact that the offer was fixed without announcement (which is totally ok imo). But freebies for some and none for others are not quite ok.

Shouldn't this entire discussion be moved to engineering section?
That's what I thought from the start, but as a general rule people don't report bugs that benefit them. The cashier gives you too much change back at the store? Ah well that's their problem.

You don’t give the extra dollar back if they give you bad change (if you notice right away)?
Dude, that’s bad juju. You know the person at the register can lose their job for that. But hey, you got an extra dollar...

Would be less bothersome if this was the very first time that the earliest people to purchase the deal got an extra 5* and the later people {after it was "fixed"} did not......

I get that it was a mistake. However, the mistake has happened before. Maybe a better customer satisfaction/confidence and goodwill gesture would have been to leave the "extra" stuff" in.
I am fully aware it is not your fault, and you are just passing on info you were told to pass on. But, maybe pass up to the company that there was a better way to deal with the mistake.
As I said, I seem to recall it happening before with the first few Offers giving people a 5*, before it was fixed.

My point exactly. I didn't buy the offer, but apparently a lot of people did. Instead of reporting what was definitely not intended, they either kept it a secret or (even more dishonestly) told people in chat or discord to take advantage. Now some want compensation because they couldn't exploit fast enough? If this was a secret test of character, then I'd say the community failed.

Yes, I misunderstood what I read apparently, or I too, would have jumped on this, as it would have immortalised my Annorax!

I was an offer related to the Chinese New Year. 888 dil included. I think credits was also in the offer.
