I'm always partial to the 10x 10x pulls , without all the clutter also i'd assume if you guys started selling 5* citations people would buy if the price is right.
I can actually remember a time when I was short on replicator items. But that was before ship schematics in abundance (when I was still building my Krayton and Prakesh), before trainers became obsolete (when all 1*, 2* and 3* crew were finished and I received more from regular gameplay than I could spend on levelling crew), before starbase components, and before replicator rations themselves.
Even back then, I would not have bought that offer.
I started 2 years behind most everyone else but early on I decided I wanted to try and catch up as best I could, and in those early days nearly 100% of my Honor went toward 5* replicator rations, and had this been available then I'd have jumped ALL over it (not proud of this, but I even had to buy trainers with Honor back then).
I'm still not to the level where 5* rations aren't useful, and had they been paired with something other than credits, I would have seriously considered it, as I am fond of these cheaper deals to let my VIP bonus dilithium benefits work for me (ie buy some semi-useful rations, whatever comes with it, and get enough bonus dilithium for a near free instant voyage recall).

Today, I have over 10,000 schematics for fourteen different ships and between 4,000 and 5,000 each of the green, blue, and purple replicator rations (never mind component stockpiles). Plus the max limit on all five trainer types and 27,000 nanopolymers (I dumped 20,000 into a replication cleaning out other inventory a month or two ago and have almost totally refilled my stock). Even with infinite replications per day and an endless supply of credits, it would take me a long time to use all of that fuel...never mind buying more in a deal like this.

You are actually lucky you came in where you did, because back the days... I spent honor on trainers, then more on trainers, and again on trainers – and all this was just after we GOT honor added to the game, before that trainers were a semi-rare commodity. This was before Voyages, we only had Episodes 1-6, no collections to draw bonuses from, etc. etc. Seems like trainers were more scarce in Gauntlet back then also. I remember having to wait a full 24 hours for my chrons to recharge to build crew to get more trainers!
Now onto replicator rations...you could use the replicator 3 or 4 times a day, but credits were scarce so you had to replicate smaller stuff. Maybe once a week I could do a 4* item, but I had to save up for that. Yes, there were plenty of times I also used honor to buy replicator rations, but it still costed more credits than I had. I rarely used Ship Schematics for fuel, since I needed them all to build the ships.
Plus, I don't think we had as many "daily" rewards back then. Yes, life was hard in the early days of the STT galaxy, walking uphill both ways, and such.
A more productive approach would be to discuss the kind of offers you would like to see
On another game they have an offer that when bought by the player it gives the equivalent of dilitium to the player and a smaller amount of dilitium to the whole fleet. That could be something to consider here as well could get people into shame buying
I was thinking about it, and if this $4.99 offer of 5* rations was instead paired with ten 10x Basic Rewards packs, would more people buy it? I strongly suspect the answer is yes.

My opinion. YMMV. Today's offer of 15 x10 Packs, 3000 Chromitons, and 3000 Dilithium (+VIP) for $25 is ones I rarely pass on. More of these are great. Also reduce the cool down on double your crew offers. I will purposely not do anything that may get me a 5 star crew if I know my DYC offer is on cool down which I believe right now is 24 hours. Reduce it to 2 hours would be better. Best would be to remove the coll down completely.

Whatever offers they do, it will always be worse than the campaign and I probably won't buy it. The 3k dilithium/chron + 15 packs offer is the best but even then that's on average about 2.5-3 random legendaries +3k chrons. 3k chrons is about 5 days work and random legendaries isn't the most interesting proposition. I would like them to make those offers a little bit more targeted, like 10 specific packs which feature a special good legendary for $10. I used to spend a lot on the game but with them power creeping the old characters at warp 8 even if I get a legendary behold in a pack, it's likely to be trash I won't use for 6-12 months. As someone above already mentioned 5* citations x5 for a reasonable price is probably the only thing to make me spend more money.
