I love B5 but i would not want a crossover of STT and *any* other franchise. I don't even want the new trek movies. tos/tas/tng/ds9/voy/ent/dsc keep it those.
While I am also adamantly against crossover Events that are not ST, Easter Eggs would not be out of the realm of possibility and fun. I mean, we have Planet Infinity, right?
Yeah, I know we're barely into this mega event, but I'd love to see a B5 mega with Walter Koenig's Bester as the recurring 5*. There are several actors who played roles in various Star Trek series and Babylon 5, should be enough to fill out 4 weeks' worth of 4- and 5-star characters.
Unfortunately I don’t see this ever happening, but they could at least make a “Timelines Original” character based on Bester, in a way. They’d just have to do what they did with Army Chaplain Odo. If they couldn’t get the rights to Bester or his appearance or anything like that, they could just make him look similar to Bester, but without any insignia or anything and call him “Mirror Chekov”. Then they could make some somewhat thin story to go around him and poof, Bob’s your uncle.
Maybe they could even come up with a weird backstory that would make Mirror Universe Chekov a telepath, lol. Then he’d be an evil telepathic Chekov from the Mirror Universe.

I really LOVE Babylon 5, but i seriously wonder about who wrote this and if they are even serious, because it ain't ever gonna happen, not even realistic.

Considering how many non canon crossovers they’ve done with non Star Trek related things, I think it would be great to have a “Section 31 Chekov” and have the art just be Bester.
I don't mind the occasional non-canon character, including nods to other famous roles by ST actors . . . but I don't know if I'd make an event out of it.

If they were to do a B5 crossover, they'd have to do a Gargoyles crossover next! Think of all the characters: Puck Data, Titania Janeway, Demona Troi, Xanatos Riker, Coldstone Worf...ok that last one is a little too much like regular Worf but whatever. It's completely impractical and in no way would work, but it's fun to dream!
I know that's got nothing to do with it, but they're doing Shakespeare on the holodeck all the time, why not? Only I feel like this really suits just the TNG crew, sorry Janeway, so bear with me, Picard and Bev are Oberon and Titania, Q is Puck, Riker and Troi are Lysander and Hermia, Worf is Demetrius, Tasha is Helena, Geordi and Data and the engineering crew are the mechanicals (Data's a mechanical, ha!) and O'Brien gets turned into a donkey because of course he does.
