Lastly ... I actually do own Assimilated La Forge (2/5), and even at 65% he doesn't make it onto my Gauntlet squad anymore ... I threw him in a couple of times, but he's only bound to disappoint I found, he's not that good really.
Really? I use Assimilated LaForge whenever he gets that 65% crit chance on gauntlet. Isn't it always when human, borg, and brutal are the three bonus traits and ENG the featured skill? Locutus is the other 65% crew for that gauntlet (and now that I finally have him, I use him, too), but with ENG the featured skill LaBorg is awesome.

1) Don’t forget about Assimilated Troi and Drone Seven. I don’t think I thawed those two last time that combo came up, but rolling into a gauntlet with 4 65% crit crew is a fun feeling.
2) La Borge is awful at 5% and 25% because his only good pairing is ENG/COM; either of those by themselves or paired with SCI are pretty much going to lose against anyone else. I don’t bother using anyone except the Caretaker for ENG-heavy gauntlets because La Borge and Tempted Data just lose to Caretaker walls anyway. That being said, at 45% La Borge becomes serviceable and ends up pretty good (although not great) at 65%, regardless of the featured skill.
I’d say this discussion confirms how badly we need someone to bridge the gap between not just the Caretaker and other ENG gauntleteers, but between the usual top-end gauntleteers in other skills and the non-Caretaker tier for ENG. Tempted Data and Assimilated La Forge get dominated when it’s ENG against a skill they don’t have that is their opponent’s primary skill...one or two crew that aren’t overwhelmingly powerful like the Caretaker but who can at least hold their own against other crew would be real nice to have. Examples:
MED would be a very much desired third skill and one that does actually make a kind of sense - all of the dialogue about tank design in the film focused on how to hold all the water, but equally important would be maintaining proper temperature and availability of oxygen for the hwhales.
I remember a lot less of Galaxy’s Child than the sources for the others on this list but I do recall that Geordi was crucial to the episode and that he was nursing a monster crush on a married woman. DIP might be a better choice than SEC for a third skill (assuming he gets all three) but as badly as he was at social skills in this episode I would argue he should have a negative DIP skill.
This would I think make a lot of people happy - the endlessly desirable MED/ENG combo for voyages, a viable ENG gauntleteer, and tertiary SEC for good measure. Never mind that this McCoy is neck and neck with Cordrazine McCoy for my most desired TOS character not named Garth...[edit] or Doctor M’Benga.
i havnt claimed any of my campaign rewards yet. Ill wait til lv50 then go from there. One good thing is ill have 4 leg citations at the end. Just dont know who to use them on.

Very brave to hold on to that many, given the number of times people complain about their citations disappearing.

Indeed. Another problem with waiting is that the equipment drops can pile up - you don’t want five of the exact same single-use legendary item.

As long as you keep your inventory below 1000 items, you shouldn’t have any problem with citations disappearing. The problem with multiple copies of the same equipment dropping, though, that’s a legit problem with waiting to claim winnings from a campaign.

Basically, everybody who has him puts him in (and during those gauntlets it becomes apparent that many (especially at higher ranks) own him because he is an older card and can be a decent pick in certain beholds for voyages, events etc.), so you're just facing walls of him when those two specific skills come up ... I just refresh ...
I prefer to send out strong crew as a whole (the Gauntlet 4 and someone like Defensive Phlox) and take on favourable match-ups ... see @Dirk Gunderson 's reasoning ... basically too niche ... is also why I never throw in Minuet, even though he's my best CMD/DIP option (I actually froze her) and often has a bonus ... haven't used Mirror Picard in eons either.
ps - ENG/MED/SEC ... in that order ... is the holy grail for voyage skill combo for me (better than MED/ENG/SEC) ... soo ...

Jury Rigger Scotty - 5*
ENG: 1050+(310-725)
DIP: 960+(225-490)
COM: 510+(180-400)
Traits: Human, Federation, Starfleet, Jury Rigger, Desperate, Explorer, Innovator
Of all of these suggestions, this is probably the likeliest that could be a two-skiller. SCI could be a third skill instead of COM, too.
Aquarium Engineer Scotty - 5*
ENG: 1025+(325-675)
SCI: 925+(250-550)
MED: 550+(120-380)
MED would be a very much desired third skill and one that does actually make a kind of sense - all of the dialogue about tank design in the film focused on how to hold all the water, but equally important would be maintaining proper temperature and availability of oxygen for the hwhales.
Smitten La Forge - 4*
ENG: 680+(295-690)
SCI: 460+(250-430)
SEC: 360+(100-260)
I remember a lot less of Galaxy’s Child than the sources for the others on this list but I do recall that Geordi was crucial to the episode and that he was nursing a monster crush on a married woman. Torpedo Surgeon McCoy - 5*
MED: 1000+(230-580)
ENG: 800+(300-750)
SEC: 455+(150-430)
This would I think make a lot of people happy - the endlessly desirable MED/ENG combo for voyages, a viable ENG gauntleteer, and tertiary SEC for good measure. Tier 50. Nothing to debate this time.
Straight drop of a second star for Commando Shran.
Begold - Leonardo(I), T'Kuvma(4*), Degra(New)
500 Honor
150 NX01 Schematics
100 Breen Warship Schematics
150 Replicator Schematics
That’s a fortuitous drop for next week’s event. Congrats!
Thanks.
The other choices were: 1st star on Miranda Jones and FF Rura Penthe Kirk. Very happy with this one.
6 schematics
3 super rare
1 Useless Behold
500 Honor
But, I did a 90k pull and got this:
Didn't have room to start a new Crew right now.........
Chakotay's one of the absolute worst, so you aren't missing out on much.
I had enough for a gold citation but was waiting to see if this pack would change who I spent it on...
And it most certainly did not....but it did add more honor for my next citation.
We will soon know who is event crew for the December mega.
-tier 90 pull
-last star for dixon, third star for feezal and the first star for stamets:D
EDIT: tier 95, not tier90...
Straight drop. At least the Assimilated Voyager schematics got me the 4th level.
