Janeway and RPC are both BBB Tier 5 so I would call that an even swap, but I would be willing to compromise and settle for a Tier 9 Garak, Elim Garak.
My disappointment was rooted in the fact that I was hoping to add a star or get someone new from the top 3 Tiers. My Sec/Sci is pretty well covered and I have 4/5 crew that I would cite before her to cover that set better, even if they don't carry them 1/2.
Your enthusiasm is making me reconsider her value proposition and cite order though.
If my Elim Garak were only 1/5, I'd definitely do that in a second! How about this, I'll throw in my 2/5 FE Elim Garak and you throw in 500 merits, sound good?
Bought the offer just once and got some good stuff:
- Finished off the Reliant and moved a bunch of other ships up;
- First star for Satan's Robot;
- Second stars on Captain Lorian and Arachnia;
- Third star on General Chang;
- Finished off President of Earth and brought one more SR up to 3* (only 16 SR left to FF!);
- With the dil, did a pull to get final star for Laborer Kirk!
- Almost have enough honor to FF Amelia Earhart (need 3 stars) too!!

From my 40 packs I picked up 2 more Janeways (including a second star for Klingon Janeway!), the 4th star for Dahar Master Koloth, second star for Mirror Spock, Temporal Prisoner Chakotay, Sulan, Mirror Intendant Kira (a BRUTALLY unfair begold as I was forced to NOT pick Enabran Tain!), and a begold with immortalized Professor Sato and two other 2 skill 5* so I just turned that one into 550 Honor. VERY much happy, although somehow over 40 more packs I still have managed to not get any T'Ong schematics!

If it helps you process this "defeat", the dilithium alone covered your cost of admission, and with your 1 begold pack removed from consideration you also walked away with approximately 15,770 Honor (or 31.54% of a 5* citation), plus 4,500 chronitons thrown in just for gits and shiggles.
At least you got 1 begold. I just did 20 packs, and ZERO begolds. I can’t buy any more “value” packs like this. At least I have some dilithim to work towards one of those 6500 packs to defeat the RNG goblins.
Well, today’s offer is interesting: back up to the $25 price point but it has a legendary citation, five super rare citations, and a small amount of dil purchasable up to two times.
I think I might get one but not two...I’ll have to think about it.

I have too. Kinda hoping the last two are awful cuz I’ve bit on all but three so far. I think. Today’s will save on all those 3/4 event crew you are talking about, having 10 SR citations in the bank could save $100 if you are one to buy the $10 offer to get that 4th star

Finally bought both. I have a ton of honor and have a lot of dils from the 9 previous days, but I know the RNG, and we may get an honor sale during the last 2 days.
For me today's offer was a 1 of 2 buy because I've already dropped a lot on the previous days, but this is just too good to not at least go in a little on. I used the 5* citation to immortalize Dahar Master Koloth (dude is a BEAST on the Security/Diplomacy voyage combo!) and I plan to use the five 4* citations to save myself some money down the road on citing up 3/4 event crew!

I'm kinda thinking the same thing. I could see an honor sale on the last day.
I'm still alittle on the fence on this. Not sure a gold cite is worth so much and the sr cites are nice to o have but not sure i really need them.

The main rationale im using to say its valuable is that i spend 10USD on every non-galaxy event which to get the final star on the new 4*. So by that measure, this pack would have 50 USD value to me. But what I lose is 10 event packs (5 x 2 packs) which would probably be worth 10 USD.
Over all 40 USD of value for the cost of 25 USD and an extra 5* cite and some dil. So on that basis its valuable. But at the same time, we get a monthly SR cite for free in the campaigns.

That’s understandable. I haven’t bought any of the usual $25 4* citation deals in quite a while because they just don’t really fill a need for me. However, I took today’s deal a single time because it allowed me to immortalize Transporter Chief Rand and FF Colonel Worf...Worf is especially important as that will save me a crew slot once I level him and it will allow me to finally stop chasing the three-part dilemmas once and for all. Sure, I would have finished him in two months off of campaign citations but I can now use those towards future event 4* crew or the handful of Tuesday pack-exclusive 4* crew that have started to pile up again.
