I feel like it should have been easy to predict a significant negative feedback for putting up a "sale" that excludes people who chose not to pay for the $ale.

Sorry, but you totally missed the point here. ;)

Is it possible to have the beholds show up in the Honor Hall (where they already exist) for players who buy the deal? Just put a note on the purchase: "claim this behold in the honor hall."

Those packs have been created to go along with the $ offers and to allow you to claim the beholds purchased in those specific $ offers.

One of my fleet members has bought 2x 15000 dilithium to get 2x legendary Beholds so £300.

Yet the £91.99 offer gives 2x Legendary beholds 29x Super Rare Beholds and 2200x dilithium.

Surely the 15000 dilithium offer should be 1500 dilithium?

It makes no sense to charge £8.99 for a campaign offer that gives a 4/5* Legendary character + 5* citation, 5x Premium packs as well as numerous other benefits then advertise a leap year offer of 15000 dilithium for a 5* behold? These 2 offers are chalk and cheese.

As things stand with a year old account and a 2 week old account, I'm considering the campaign for the 2 week old account, nothing even tempting for either in the 'Leap Year' offers, content and pricing needs a complete rethink.

But that would make them claimable with no time limit. Think portal update and people holding back their pulls.

I think that a 999999999 dil price tag and some remark on the offer regarding its purpose should have been the way to go.

/edit: I do not have an issue with people holding back their pulls, also not in this case. But it looks like DB wants the beholds to be consumed instantly. If not the Honor Hall proposal is very fine.

Maybe people spending $50-100 on the game should be allowed to claim them when they want. Already can with premium packs.

My edit above came a bit too late.

    I agree.

I hadn't thought either of those things through. Thank you, @[Mirror] Sanoa and @Automaton_2000 . :)

@Shan You might want to consider putting out an in game message about this. There are a lot of angry and/or confused people in some online communities (who havent read your comment here) that just think this is a gouge.

I don't understand why people are angry about an offer being high-priced. There are a lot of high-priced offers and bad deals in this game, and one that's ridiculously high-priced shouldn't make anyone angry any more than those others do. Confused, okay. But angry? That's just people who are looking for things to get mad about (which sort of describes a huge part of online culture today, but that's another story).

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

Well, if you're referring to my post above yours, my intention was to pass along feedback rather than get drawn into it. Rightly or wrongly, some people are angry.
