It wasn’t necessary to remove mine. You should have answered it

While we will not be changing the campaign, we do appreciate your feedback, and comments on this matter. They will be taken into consideration for the future.

On a personal note, I appreciate how respectful this discussion is, and I hope it will stay that way :)

Why won't you be changing it? Is it too late technically? Or is it just not important enough to be respectful of the community you are trying to celebrate/align with/profit from?

Sadly, you seem to already have made up your mind on the subject.

However I will add that, as a studio, and human beings, we stand by our choice.

And I want to thank Torias327 for explaining so eloquently why Lenara Kahn, and what was portrayed in that episode, are still very relevant.

While progress is made every day, said progress is not achieved by everyone at the same speed, in the same manner. The struggles of the past are still very much contemporary struggles for some.
That is something we collectively often lose sight of, even when we view ourselves as open-minded individuals, with the best intentions.

Thank you for clarifying that it was and/or is a conscious choice.

I still think it's a problematic choice, but your clarification and attempted justification at least show some consideration.

Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."
