I'm not gonna lie, having Anonymous Complaint be one of Edward's (recurring) items made me laugh.

I choose to believe that the higher rarity versions are progressively more pointed and grumpy. :)

I can't remember if the Legendary was needed twice or not.

Makes sense. The one time a second was not needed......

I never get wrap-up packs, but I really like Larkin so I figured I'd splurge.

Four packs, two more stars on Dr. La Forge. Wow.

Six degrees in Inter-species Veterinary Medicine. Treating all manner of critters, from Tribbles to Humans.

I went ahead and opened four trying for La Daddy. Got three Hortas and an Edward. Both already frozen.

Oh, and this, so guess it was okay.....

For the life of me, I will never understand why any player uses dilithium on galaxy event packs, with the exception of being Captain Ahab. We each have our own white whales, after all. Mine were Khan at 1/5* and a bitter day on the Dabo wheel, then having Moriarty FF’d from beGolds before the “flashbackrunish” expedition. C’est la vie.

Far better it seems, to me at least, is to get the galaxy 4* FF’d (and possibly frozen) for the crew slot, mark down one more immortal towards the next achievement (30 dil), but save my existing dilithium for no-community-rewards event packs, to FF the likes of Larkin & such.

I suppose a lot of this depends on a player’s personal event horizon w/r/t how long he/she intends to play STT. Upon retrospection, I think I agree with @Bylo Band and his ultimate gameplay goals, as stated eloquently elsewhere. If I have implicitly mischaracterized those, then I sincerely apologize. 🖖

    EDIT, post script:

One thing that has lately re-engaged my curiosity about how we all play differently is w/r/t the use of merits (cryo-shuffle) vs. dilithium (slots) when it comes to crew. For the record, I have used my own (monthly card) dilithium to buy crew slots twice, when the pressure was on the 3/4*s. I currently have 275 slots, for the record.
