@Travis S McClain keeps pretty comprehensive records on this type of thing. I would check stats over a longer period of time, rather than draw conclusions based on one week.
They've been on a recent spree of non-main cast legendaries, though. Travers, Hernandez, Jhamel, Nona, and now Emory Erickson. The last main cast legendary reward for an event was EV Suit T'Pol, right before the ENT mega event.
TOS - GOLD
TNG - New Purple
DS9 - Recycled Old Purple
The Audience in this game must be older than I already think it is. I would have thought the average was 30-40ish folks. I'm thinking its older... No issue with that. Explains why the Gold and Purple crew seem flipped a lot of the time. "The Most Toys" is one of the best TNG episodes. Classic. My comment on it is simply this.. Fajo is a COLLECTOR of RARE ITEMS. TP had a Unique Opportunity here to make HIM a rare collectable. Its what I woulda done. But I mean.. whatever. It is what it is. If you are a DS9 fan and hate TNG then you must be kinda underwhelmed here also.
This site has Redemption at #1 and BOBW at #3? Don't know anyone who would agree with that. But feel free to speak up if you agree with that one. Redemption is fine.. but its not BOBW.
IMDB has Voyager "Relativity" and a lot of Enterprise episodes ahead of TNG "All Good Things" in the top 100 Rankings. These lists mean nothing.
The last TOS legendary was Technician Fisher on August 6th. Before that it was Claymore Scotty on March 19th. And that is it for 2020. We've had 37 events and 3 have had a TOS legendary. 8% of event legendaries have been TOS. That's less than you would expect for 1/7 series, and certainly not "a lot of the time."
You also have to account for the short run of TOS though. It ran for 80 episodes over three seasons, the lowest except TAS with 22 eps. Even Enterprise beat it by 16 eps. There is less to pick from and they have done a lot of it already. Not much choice stuff they can do yet.
We have three crew just from the Cage! They can't do TOS Mudd. The Cage Pike is likely out too. JtB Sarek and Amanda come to mind and some of the more memorable guest stars, but they didn't really have reoccurring guests like Q, Martok, Seska, Shran, etc. One offs or variants of main cast are all we can get from TOS.

This game has always played pretty fast and loose with their Legendaries. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Fajo seemed destined to be a 5-star - memorable episode and character, recognizable guest star, fits the theme of the game, great antagonist. But I guess not everybody can be as iconic as *checks notes* ...Inglatu?

Except that was counting DIS and PIC which have fewer episodes too. Based on episode counts, TOS has 10% of episodes. 10% of episodes and 8% of event legendaries, that's still not making TOS the legendary crew "a lot of the time".

I’m sure there are more, but I’m sure WRG could fill an entire year solid of nothing but TOS legendaries (which would ruin me financially ) and still have leftover crew...I mean, I didn’t even list any TAS characters like M’Ress, Stavos Keniclius, Spock Two, or several others.
@Dirk Gunderson - I am seriously impressed with your encyclopedic recall of TOS one-offs. Are you sure you don't want to switch to a Spock avatar?
I'll toss in High Commissioner Ferris and Mr. Boma from Galileo 7 (heck, any of the shuttle crew from that episode) and I still want the native creature from that planet for a potential "Monsters/Creatures" collection.

It’s my favorite series...and I spent a lot of time as a kid reading, re-reading, and re-re-reading the first edition of the Star Trek Encyclopedia, Star Trek Chronology, and several technical manuals. Some things just stick, I guess.
Although I imagine the artwork would be a challenge, The Companion would be a nice one for a prospective Creatures collection as well.

And Samuel T. Cogley would be another great character to include.
For all who like Fajo, and have the TNG season box set, going through the special features is worth it. There's an almost complete second set of scenes with Fajo, however, played by a different actor (who tragically died shortly before filming was complete).

Hmmm, I forgot about that one. I don't have him, so he didn't spring to mind. I'd have thought there would be a license issue for him. He died while the show was still on the air and his widow was convinced sci-fi was beneath him. I guess his heirs have better sense.

Do you not like TNG? The writers of TNG did such a great job creating memorable characters.
I love TNG, first show I watched when it was shown in Ireland in the early 90's. Doesn't mean we have to like this character who expect being a thief had nothing going for him.
Erickson is a pretty solid ENG/SCI voyager thanks to those strong proficiencies.
The strong secondary is interesting. His primary ENG is good but not really notable. That SCI secondary pushes him up to #2 ENG/SCI and #54 overall. But future event potential is low. So using cites would be only for ENG/SCI voyages.

It’s not like there are that many scenes with Jeffrey Hunter’s Pike that we could reasonably expect to get characters from. Maybe from the picnic with Vina or having a drink with Dr. Boyce*? Regardless, I, too, am glad that the family changed its mind about his role in Trek. That gives me hope that the families of Robert Walker and/or Roger C. Carmel will have a similar change of heart in the future.
*Speaking of crew we could add, Boyce would be another fun one:

now i know what i've been saving all of my DIL for!
Who is to say there won't be a 5* version of Kivas Fajo in the future?
This is a drum I have been known to beat. It is nearly unheard of for a one-off character to get multiple cards; Kamala is the only real exception I can think of. I suppose the Bynar fusion technically counts, and maybe we can stretch things to include Annorax (even if that's a two-parter). If there are others, please correct me!
But Fajo clearly has his fans, and that counts for something. I can't recall if he has an outfit switch, but other distinct art is easily made. Perhaps a "Threatening Kivas Fajo" with his disputer, or a "Collector Kivas Fajo" showing off his baseball card.
Personally, I'd love to see him get the Davenport treatment, although I'm not sure what trait collection would make sense. Most of the ones he has are quite large, or fairly small. Although if we're getting a Mirror collection, a large collection may be possible.

Because you asked for it - it's definitely not common, but there are a few other examples of one-off characters with multiple versions :
- Craft
- Ilia
- Lily Sloane
There are also quite a few who probably have more versions than are justified for their screen time (Vina, Number One, the Klingon TOS/DS9 trio, Cochrane, Leah Brahms, Mayweather).
Did anyone already mention that this is (basically) a card collecting game and that Kivas Fajo probably has an outsized following amongst players in this community because he is a collector of things, which is basically the premise of the game?
