No Shuttle Boosts or Supply Kit in faction event threshold rewards

I noticed that in this weeks faction event there are no shuttle boosts or supply kit in the threshold rewards. Instead, DB has taken one of the faction tokens and put it up a tier in each area where these would have been.

    I believe its just copy-paste rewards from the original run. So none of the innovations to rewards that occurred in 2017 other than cumulative rewards and Mikey B in Ranked.

    The fact that they are doing another rerun this close to the previous one tells me something is up in DB land from a resource standpoint. It **tsk tsk**, but, there are worse things that they've done like only Fed look on shuttles (which is supposedly fixed now).

    The fact that it looks like they got all the bonus crew right, well, was a pleasant surprise.

    Considering they didn't change the 5* ranked reward like they have been doing for re-runs and looking at the wiki for the first run of this it's a complete copy-paste job. Also explains why there are so many seats on the shuttles, there are so many AND slots when no event crew have those combos, and how hard the shuttles are. However we have been asking DB for them to take time to get events right so maybe this is them trying? Straight up re-run with only the ranked 4* swapped should be very little work for them.

    Per the wiki, the missions are different.

    They also took away the chroniton rewards...DB just thought that they give us too much stuff already and really wanted to motivate us to give it our best this event...

    And nothing says "give it all you got" than crappy rewards. Have fun!

    Huh, didn't even notice that. Well that's disappointing - even now chronitons are glemmoning out of the sky from voyages, those rewards were very welcome. Not that I'm going to throw my toys out of the pram and go home over it, but... not great optics for DB on this one.

    In my day, when our shuttles failed, we got nothin' and we liked it. You kids today and your shuttle boosts and your supply kits...! (It is a disappointingly lazy copy and paste job, though.)
    Did your shuttles also have to go though time loops both ways? Though snow and ice rings? And the only on-board game was tri-d chess, none of that fancy new kitarian junk.

    We didn't have no cryostasis vaults! You wanted to make room for somebody new, you didn't get to save someone to do it. You just got rid of someone, permanently! Cadets weren't anything special that got any kind of chronitons or trainers. They were weaklings you shoved out the airlock to make room for better crew members! And you young'uns today wouldn't stand a chance against the skill levels we had to clear in them days, no you would not!

    Now that is a post that summarizes how much the game has changed. When I started, all we had were 35 crew slots, and they were never enough. Had anyone told me that 10 months into the future we are going to have so much stuff on our hands to play with, I would have been even more stoked to play STT back then.
