Just happened across this press release with some interesting text that might indicate the arrival of a popular requested character. I've not seen any mention of him in any of the event text.

Some of the wording is...poor but this stood out to me:

To start with, there’s a new “A Woman of Conviction” limited time event, where you can join Sirella to eliminate the parasitic beings controlling her husband, the Klingon warrior Martok and other top Klingon officials. By targeting the ship carrying Martok and the Lieutenant Commander Remmick, you must eliminate the mother parasite the halt the invasion before the end of the event

I love the potential this. One of the things I wish TNG (or any other show, for that matter) had done was revisit that storyline.
Yes, the episode itself wasn't executed the best, but there was just so much meat on the bone for a longer, multipart story arc. If I remember correctly, the Borg themselves were supposed to be insect-like creatures, before budgetary issues nixed that idea. Quite a few people think this episode was originally going to lead into that storyline before the change.
If not for the self contained episodic style of that era, the Conspiracy arc could have been mined for a lot of gold. In today's serialised format, this could easily have provided a season's worth of stories, if not more.
I'm hopeful that maybe this might be an indication of that happening, even if it's in a non-canon way. And if not, it should still be an interesting one off. Either way, my interest is piqued.
Or maybe just General Martok.
Tryla Scott!!!
Yup.

That was so obvious, most didn't consider it. That says something about WRG/TP existing crew choices......

I was hoping for Martok's Neghvar as a new 5⭐.
Bummer!
