@Nomad (FADM:Patterns of Force) - Thank you much! I skipped right over Shan’s official word and went straight to this thread to register my wholehearted approval of adding M’Ress. Long overdue!
Closest comparable crew is probably Vice Admiral Janeway. M'Ress beats her out by about 100 points overall for Voyages, but Janeway's stronger bases actually put her at the #1 CMD/ENG shuttle, whereas M'Ress comes in at #4. Janeway also has the whole "main crew of a series that TP actually cares about" thing going for her.
In summation: if you have Janeway, forget M'Ress.
I'm sad to report that I have Janeway, which means I'll be saving my dilithium. But I do love M'Ress' art.
