I'm going to use this Skirmish to stock-up on 3/4/5* components that I don't get very often- so it would be great to be able to find appropriate missions for an item within Inventory, the same way it works when you're building equipment within the crew screen.
I can't help but wonder why TP decided to bury the lead on this one. They could easily have dedicated a post to it in order to hype it up and generate some much-needed goodwill. By sneaking it into a release, that positive energy seems to have been all but completely lost.

Too busy overhyping the "great new feature"........

I have another idea for adding to the already improved inventory interface - the ability to favorite items, similar to how we can favorite crew. The favorite 'heart' could be added to the side screen where the single item icon and name is displayed above the 'discard' button. You could then select 'favorites' from the pull-down list as another filtering option. I think this would be a great addition for tracking key items.
Additionally, I've always wished we could run missions directly from the inventory screen, after selecting a particular item, as if we were selecting it from the equipment build screen in the crew quarters.

Scott, don’t know if I am just misremembering your past contributions to the forum, but I thought you were generally a balanced presenter of your point of view. I feel that of late your contributions have taken on a much more negative tone, often just sniping. Hope all is going well in your world.
