riddle me this
in The Bridge
We are 34 hours into this skirmish. How is it possible that rank 1 has already racked up over 10 million points? I just don't get it.

Assuming each run gives the max VP (6000), this is the result of 1667 series of 5 battles each.
Also assuming each run takes 60 seconds, that would be about 27 hours and 45 minutes of non stop skirmishing. I'm using 60 seconds as a lot of high level players have said they can do it in 50-55 seconds, so 60 seems fair, to leave a margin of error and keep the math simpler.
None of this takes into account any bonus VP from the first battles (1-4 out of 5) that can be achieved.
So, while it seems unbelievable at first glance, it is certainly doable with great dedication. People have stated before how little sleep they get during some of these events, so it isn't inconceivable if you're willing to grind with little rest.
Not something I would do, but I'm not going to judge someone else on their play style/priorities.
True. But if you have a huge savings of chrons available, as a lot of endgame players do, it's not hard to spam the warp max (10x) button to get more Intel, and wouldn't take that much time.
I'd like to ask a direct question to make sure I'm not misunderstanding your intent. It seems that you are suggesting something underhanded is at work here. Is that the case?
Sigh. Unnecessary comment removed. ~Shan
So, because I asked a question to make sure I understand their intent, that's an attack/personal insult? That's a bit of a stretch. 🤔
I have no dog in this fight. I simply did a mathematical breakdown. How you took this to be any kind of attack, or anything other than what it was, is beyond me.
I don't understand why some people on this forum have to make everything confrontational. There was nothing of the sort in this conversation until you decided to make it that way.
If you have some sort of proof of cheating, or anything like that, please provide it. Otherwise, these are just unfounded allegations.
I despise cheaters, and if they are cheating, I'd love for them to get caught. If there is definitive proof, I say ban them from the game. If that makes me one of the "troll army", as you seem to be implying, you've got a warped sense of logic there 😄

Can he maintain this kind of pace? I have no idea, though we shall see. Personally, I cannot. But I’m older than him, and aging is a bi###.
Appreciate your voice of reason. Not really sure what he is going off for.

I don't care how anyone gets the points they have. I don't care if there is cheating (general statement not this specific) or paying (general statement not this person specific) or a month's supply of red bull in a single weekend. I honestly do not care, and in clear language I am encouraging the OP and anyone else to not care or confront any one about the rank scores. Assume TP is doing their usual superb job and don't worry about how anyone else is playing. Assume they are playing within the rules and if doing better are generous and enthusiastic about playing the game. That is not sarcasm. It's not worth the stress, it won't go anywhere.
Try going back to the top of this thread. The math is right there.
OP asked how it was possible to accumulate that many points in that amount of time. I answered. OP mentioned the need for more intel. I responded to that as well.
I also merely asked a reasonable question as to what provoked their original question. There could have been multiple reasons and I didn't want to misconstrue their original intent.
It could have been as simple as wanting to learn how to do it. It could have been because they thought it was impossible and there was cheating involved. It could have been any reason in between.
There was no attack. No confrontation. No problem. Then you decided to create one.
If OP feels my question is an attack, I am making it clear, right here, that it wasn't. There was no need for you to get involved. No one else has taken what I said as an attack. There are no victims here, myself or otherwise. The only one being confrontational is you.
If someone is earning points honestly, and fairly, congratulations to them on their achievement. If they are cheating or doing it by illegal or sketchy means, then that is unfair to all the other players. And they should be punished. I think your opinion on potential cheating would be in the minority.
I find it interesting that you end your statement with "it's not worth the stress". Yet here you are, trying pick a fight where there isn't one. 🤔
Gawd, I think cheating would be a better option than that. That’s not something I’d recommend at any age.
I've spent a total of 10 dilithium on an accidental after-battle reward box. I also streamed my skirmishing and a few pack openings for some friends for a while last night before bed (8 hours, felt great). 19 bot checks so far, if anyone's curious.
edit: it's about 6300 VP per round. some great data here from @Laura Palmer
Krenim Chakotay doesn't have hearts around him. WHO ARE YOU!
Is this graph paper getting a break from dungeon mapping...?
Thank you for clarifying that. It is appreciated.
Hopefully the information provided has helped with that. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
Auto wins a Skirmish with this simple trick, WRG employees hate him!
That said, taking first in say a Faction event.... another story of recourse mgt. But, high rank is obtainable with the same hoarding, planning, rest etc.
Also a few years of experience playing and advising players doesn't hurt either.
TY Auto for all you, and others do for the community. Happy Tapping!
Your link is broken. Tapping your post doesn't take me to a site that wants to send me e-mails every 2 hours.
