You know, in the preview it says what a voyage could yield, including equipment of all rarities up to and including super-rare! If that really happened, I'd be very happy actually.
"Everything about the Jem'Hadar is lethal!" - Eris (ST-DS9 Episode 2x26 "The Jem'Hadar")
Pretty evident now that the nerfing of Voyage is providing more and more frustration. Typical DB behavior, launch something decent then Nerf until everyone hates it. Look at gauntlet, some in my fleet don't even participate any more.
Why not? They don’t need any more 3* trainers? LOL I hardly participate in Gauntlet anymore to be honest. Not worth the effort.

I still do the Gauntlet. The opening rush where you can usually get a 12-15 streak is worth it, the end prizes are usually worth it and I wont say no to more Guinan's. The in between stuff can be a bit tedious but I'm savage enough to keep going till I get Locutus achievement.
I am not one to defend DB... many have seen my posts of frustration. But when it comes to Voyages, I track mine very closely. I know I am only 1 person's data, but the only thing that shifts in Voyages is the RNG of what drops and how much. One trip I'm heavy on trainers, another on rations, another on crew. There is a set number of ticks and cache drops every Voyage that has an ever so slight range. Each cache has a range of 1 or 2 items, along with credits. Sometimes it's even credits/credits. I have seen a cache drop 52 4* Rations or 12 5* Trainers at one time - probably a glitch in the coding and does throw percentages off of what you are really getting.
Here's what everyone needs to realize... Voyages are a a free way to earn chrons 5x faster than the standard refresh rate of 10 per hour. You also get some honor and credits. If you revive using dilithium, then you're buying chrons at the best rate of purchase. Everything else is icing on the cake. If you look at it that way, then you won't be disappointed if you don't get a 4* crew. You will still walk away with more chrons than you would have over the same time period without Voyages, along with honor, credits, and components.

There is still no evidence of nerfing Voyages. I'd love to see stats other than "it feels like this" and "I seem to have noticed that". I have recorded all 87 Voyages since 9/25 and have had 13 out of 360 Dilemmas drop a 3* or 4* components, or 600 ship schematics. That 3.5% drop rate. With that percentage, and what little data was available other than some random posts, it's no wonder no one saw these components or schematics before the alleged "nerf". I received 12 of those 13 from 10/5 to 10/22. Since then I've had 1 component drop in 35 days. Granted, the Dilemmas are more documented on the Wiki and I look before choosing to see which choice has a lower chance of dropping a component. Yes, I bring up the Dilemma, then swap from the game to Safari to the Dilemma Wiki page I always have open and look first before choosing when I know it's a 3* or 4* Dilemma. You should try it.
I would rather have the chronitons and 4* crew over the component. Though lately the randomizer seems quite stingy to me. I haven’t got a 4* crew in a few days.
I have noticed a decrease in 4* crew random drops over the last 4 or 5 Voyages. But then again, my number of missing Super Rare crew has dropped from around 50 down to 10 since I started Voyages, and also have been buying the 10 for 10 and the two 15 pulls last week. However, yesterday's and today's Voyage, I have 3 4* crew - all Airlock honor, but still having 3 back to back throws my "noticing" out the window. As I stated above, if I'm low in one thing, I'm high in another - I had high amounts of trainers and rations (over 100 of each), as well as 2* components.
I'd like to see a list of dilemma that I "recognise as will give me a 4* crew"!!
I have gotten 1 (count 'em) 4* crew from a dilemma and 4 4* crew randomly ... now I reach 6 hrs (at least) each voyage and with ease (usually between 600 and 1000 AM left to go - recall anyway because I'm afraid I'll forget to do so it if I don't do so very soon after 6 hrs.) and have reached 8 hrs on occasion ... the last 8 hr I got to I obtained a 2* Data and 9 out of 10 6hr dilemmas are 2* crew too.
Any tips of getting more 4*s in would be appreciated (i.e. which option to click) ... I have a ton of non-FF 4* crew just waiting on more stars.
Someone posted a link to the Dilemmas on the Wiki. All the information you need is there. Use the resource to help you when needed, but sadly you are limited by RNGesus in this game. If the game wants to give you all 2* Dilemmas, then that's what you're going to get that Voyage. There's no tips to beating the RNG roll to pick 1 of 27 possible Dilemmas.
4* crew only drop at and after 6h, so if you recall with 600-1000 antimatter to go, that nerfs your chances of getting 4* crew.
4* Random drops mainly drop after 6h, though I have seen a few drop in the 5 hour range (already have them before the 6 hour dilemma). You can get a 4* from a Dilemma at any hour - RNG pulls from an initial list of 24 Dilemmas (17 Uncommon, 2 Rare, 5 Super Rare) for your 2 hour mark. Then adjusts from there.
I have a bad memory too, but have dealt with this by setting an alarm. Try setting an alarm instead? Typically, 600 antimatter will take maybe 30 mins to go through. So set your timer for 20 mins or so and you'll be fine.
I go by the calculation 250 AM = 10 minutes. I set my alarm for 9 minutes just in case, but depending on the hour and your skill stats, you may still pass some hazards so the time will be extended. After the 6h Dilemma, if I have 2200 AM left, I set my alarm for 85 minutes. When the alarm goes off, I adjust accordingly to what's left... but at least I won't forget to check!
Dilemma has a chance for 2* or 3* Crew. Gets a 2* Picard.
If it's a 2* Dilemma, the chance of a 3* is possible, but very low! Yes, people do rarely get 3* on a 2* Dilemma, or a 4* on a 3* Dilemma, but do not expect it... just feel lucky it if does happen!
I managed to get A Higher Duty, Part 1 as my first dilemma, and then Part 2 as my second dilemma. Huge tease there.
I did not get Part 3 for my third dilemma, and I wasn't going to make it to 8 hours, so when it was time to decide on whether to recall, or crash and recharge, I ended up recalling. As much as I'd like a chance at Fierce Guinan, I'm not going to keep throwing dilithium at a voyage for a 3% chance every two hours.
That is quite a tease, but your instinct was correct to not continue reviving. I do 1 or 2 revives normally to get to the 10-12h Dilemma, but I woudn't have went past that either. Your 3% chance is WAY too high... more like 0.03% chance (it was calculated in this post by AviTrek).
It definitely feels the dilemma reward been nerfed compare to when it first came out, lot less chance of 4* 3* at 6 hour dilemma.
Again, it has nothing to do with the hour of dilemma, it has to do with RNG. You could revive your mission 10 times and go 16-18 hours and all 8 or 9 Dilemmas could easily be 30/30/2*. Going above a certain time does not guarantee higher rarity Dilemmas.
You know, in the preview it says what a voyage could yield, including equipment of all rarities up to and including super-rare! If that really happened, I'd be very happy actually.
I'm not sure where you see this preview, but I did notice if you click on the "i" for Voyage information, it shows this under "Rewards":
You have a 2* Encoded Communique, 4* Synthesized Polymer, Desealer Rod, Hyperspanner, and Tube Grubs... of which only the 4* Polymer component is actually possible to get. 30 minutes later, I clicked the "i" again, and there are 5 different items listed - Transmissions, 2* Romulan Encryption Transmission, 1* Backpack, a 0* Experiment (wouldn't those be nice), and get this - a "Basic Core Engineering Skill of +3%". How f'd up is DB's code to pull something from a Starbase (our Fleet Starbase is at 3% Engineering)?!? But these are fantasy rewards. You only get chrons, honor, credits, crew, components, trainers, rations, and schematics.

The sample 'rewards' change every time you press the info button...no matter how long in between presses. And as for the starbase bonus...yeah it is very syrange...even once saw like 3,000 starbase components listed...but I think it was drawing from my current invetory...you'll notice that there is a number when you press each sample (usually) check your invetory and you will have the exact same number of that item. Case in point below.
I currently have 12 transmissions...and 12 are listed as a reward.

Since listed in your samples was a 4 star item...please confirm for me that you have that same exact item in your inventory?

I wouldn't mind schematics for ships I don't have.
I also would like to see 4* ships be more useful in Voyages. A 4* with a matching trait should be better than a 5* with no trait.
