About the other thing:
That scene of a villain taking over a starship and sitting side-saddle in the captain's chair has become iconic, it seems. But, Jesse James Keitel put such sass and flair into it! I think several of the Star Trek Fan series have used that side-saddle thing, too. Or, it seems like it to me.
