Hey all,

thought it might be helpful to encourage people to share their gains from the new merit reward system in the portal. is it worth the 725 merits for 3 pulls? Let's see if the community can help us figure that out! ;)

    I'm referring to this as the Honor Exchange Program.

    Did it once and got a 3* Geordi, 3* Culluh, and 2* Scotty.

    It's worth it if you have no other use for merits and wanna convert then to honour.

    But with the abusive proficiency rooms in starbases designed to attack smaller players/fleets, merits might be vital in Gauntlet now

    My first purchase of the new merit pack resulted in: 2* Pazlar, 3* Reed, 4* Reed (350 honor).

    I've pulled several 4*s and of course 3s and 2s and it works for me to turn them into honor

    Good idea, but 725 merits seems a bit steep.

    7 x 3*

    That's 3625 merits for 1075 honor or a 3.37 merit-to-honor rate (small sample size, obviously)

    Well, that 3600 merits, when I factor in the 25 merits I got from the daily for portal purchases :smiley:

    I made 10 pulls. If it was 3* or less I mostly ignored it as I've got too many characters to gear up now. There were two really good pulls and one generally OK one, which was actually good for me.

    1st pull: (I hadn't even seen this Kirk in the wild before.)

    All-in-all I'd say it was worth it, plus I got to airlock a bunch of Wesleys. :smiley:

    Yeah its honor hunting at that point as I have all 1s 2s 3s FFed...but hey the merits weren't helping me that much except in item shopping now and again.

    I don't see the point in trying to 'win' Gauntlet.

    Two pulls, 2 blues and 4 greens. It seems quite clear that this pull is not worth doing. Spend your merits in gauntlet and faction stores.

    It's got potential..
    I'd like to see the refresh cost in the gauntlet lowered to make this something that can be done on a more regular basis..

    Well, I just finished the 1000 Gauntlet Battles and got 1000 Merits.

    Fully Fused a Level Thirty Mirror Phlox for this weekend and got 100 Honor......
