  • 5 new Voyage Dilemmas.

    EDIT: Did anyone catch if Ben said new Voyage Crew will be ONLY in the new 10+ hour Dilemmas, or will be added to the BeGolds with G.I. Cho/Black?

    Or what? I miss stuff sometimes.

    It starts at 10 hours.

    What voyage changes did they announce? I didn't have a chance to listen and of course there is no announcement.

    Not that they can be trusted for voyages, anyway. The rations are a scam. That 5% line is obviously garbage. I've had no beholds of any kind, but two voyages in a row with rations.

    I have absolutely no reason to trust anything they say about voyages.

    They are adding 4 or 5 new dilemmas that will only appear starting at 10 or 12 hours. Those will have a higher chance of the voyage exclusive 5* crew.

    There will also be a third 5* crew added.

    Ben didn't give any numbers on what the chance will be.

    Guess I’ll be holding my Voyage Tokens till the next update. Only got 27. Guess I’ll have to stop being dumb with them ie no more gambling on recalls.

It's really sucking the fun out of fbb, and many in my fleet barely even bother with it anymore now that we've been stuck for so long. Thanks.

    Another suggestion for the next time there is a video Q&A would be to maybe gather questions HERE ahead of time. That way the Q&A can be a little more organized, and answers can be researched and discussed by the Team beforehand.

    Hey Selene 7! I am curious on your fleet size and which difficulty of battle your fleet is stuck on? I assume your fleet is unable to get bilitrium III?

    That is what is hanging up every Fleet stuck at 13. They cannot get past BL 13 until they get more Bilitrium III. And they cannot get more Bilitrium III until they get past BL 13.

    It's a Catch-22.

    Adjusting the drop so 50% Damage gives a small amount of Bilitrium III would help the stuck Fleets. They would get a little from solving the Chains, and could eventually advance to where they can do Bridge Levels and would enjoy the challenge, rather than being stuck behind a hard wall, they cannot climb or break through.

    Being able to eventually advance would lead to more engagement, whereas being stuck with no hope is much more likely to lead to player loss, instead.

    Our Fleet is in the BL 20-30 zone mostly now. But, I know a lot are stuck at 13 in other Fleets. I hate the idea of people running into frustration and quitting the game because losing players is never good.

    Since you seem to read the comments here, but won't even acknowledge that they exist anywhere else, will the voyages ever be fixed so we are not being cheated 5% of the time?

  • Looking like we will be able to make a change for our next server on 9/19. Adding one Bitrilium 3 at nightmare 100% destruction. Do you see that helping the smaller fleets?

    I think it would definitely help some. Not sure a lot of smaller fleets can finish the nightmares though. 75% may be better.

    It certainly will. I've seen a number of players leave the game because of frustration with boss battles and lack of progress. Sure, it's still an ask for smaller fleets but it's not impossible. One thing I don't understand is why it hasn't been added to 50 and 75% tiers on ultra by now.

    So whatever happened with the concept of rewards for clearing chains/nodes? I wouldn't be a fan of chains as players would sit there and cherry-pick. you miss out on so much damage hunting nodes, therefore less rewards. I'd like to see it as random drops of bridge components.

    That's what I've wanted. A random drop of valor, honor, or bridge components. It could even include b3 and let that be the way to get people past the bottleneck.

    I think the solution for bit 3, should be:
    Determine the total damage needed to destroy Boss by the total number of fleet members that do more than zero damage to the boss.
    So, that means the max damage will change as more participants participate.
    However, the node damage needs to stay at the percentage , so that all nodes solved will still yield 50% damage to the boss, no matter how many more fleet members participate.

    Thanks @WRG Ben ! We are 28 players, but only about half are still active sadly (used to be we were always at max capacity). We managed to defeat Nightmare only once when there was extra valor awarded (together with an extra push of dilithium), and are now fighting Ultra Nightmare, as that is the only one that theoretically could give us bilitrium III. Nightmare 100% destruction regularly is out of reach for us.

    We were doing ca 55-60% damage to Ultra Nightmare before, but now that FBB participation has gone down what with being stuck for so long, we often end up in the 5-45% range, but my hope would be that more people would participate again if there was a way to advance the captain's bridge.

    Removing the replicator rations from voyages and dropping in some Bili 3 would be a nice bit. Same for the 2nd and 3rd tier of campaigns.....

    You know that will never happen. It is a good idea, but they are committed to cheating us 5% of the time. They are so committed they refuse to even acknowledge that people have an issue with it. It's like those school board meeting where the board members walk out instead of even listening to people who have issues. I don't know how they sleep at night. Probably pills. If they did put in the Bilitrium 3 instead of the trainers, that would be an improvement and benefit some people. But they should still make it avoidable. They won't, but it would be a nice dream.

    They were told in the "feedback" thread that Fleets can't get to 💯% until they can get the materials to upgrade.

  • Greetings Captains! Lately we have been focusing on improving some of the rewards and been hearing some of your propositions (specially some captains in this same thread). We are gathering suggestions, issues, and other queries that you guys ight have the best we can. Regarding this note, we don't register many complaints regarding this issue for smaller fleets but we understand it can frustrating for others. What suggestions would you propose so we can send a note to the devs? LLAP

    I mainly find it frustrating not to be able to advance the Captain's Bridge at all, and especially not being able to get either McCoy or Kirk.

    It's very much a Catch-22. Fleets that can't get the Bilitrium they need to advance the Captain's Bridge can't do so because they have to advance the Captain's Bridge in order to get the Bilitrium they need to advance the Captain's Bridge.
