Greetings Captains! Lately we have been focusing on improving some of the rewards and been hearing some of your propositions (specially some captains in this same thread). We are gathering suggestions, issues, and other queries that you guys ight have the best we can. Regarding this note, we don't register many complaints regarding this issue for smaller fleets but we understand it can frustrating for others. What suggestions would you propose so we can send a note to the devs? LLAP
An absence of complaints is not necessarily evidence of the absence of a problem. My latest alt is in a small fleet and stuck on level 7, reached via the FBB OE*, because we can't even 50% Normal, and I don't think any of us have bothered to start a battle in the last fortnight.
I think it's possible that most smaller fleets have just given up, either deciding that boss battles are something they'll just ignore, or farming honor etc. from the lower levels and not worrying about the Bridge. I suspect in many cases members who are keen to progress will just move to bigger fleets, but if people have been a fleet together for years they may well not want to.
*relatedly, I do think it would be good to a) run this OE more often and b) add some bilitrium III to it (maybe as a final tier that's a real stretch goal?) - might also be worth upping the amounts of magnesite it gives given how much is needed at level 20+ and how far behind people who have reached one or other of the choke points now are.

Provide bonus personal rewards for solving traits. Make it be a random drop between valor, honor, mag, and bil iii. That way smaller fleets can slowly get over the bottleneck with those drops. And it provides incentive for players in other fleets to solve nodes rather than freeload off of other fleetmates.
My 2c ... 22 of us took down NM x2 during FBB Event (with a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle Dil spending & 40 Valor = $5 in the store), I too would like more chances to win Bil3 &/or more FBB Events ... another Dev Note: please change Valor cap from 4 to 5, to allow the Valor regen timer to NOT MAX when buying 4 Valor for 150/200/250/... Dil, and TY TY TY TY TY for at least adding Bil3 to NM 100% that's something since a lot of us are STUCK at Bridge Level 13! Admiral TrialNeverEnds [STARFLEET!] recruiting
Personally, I do not believe any more changes should be done to the actual FBB rewards in regards to Bril 3. You should get better rewards for completing the higher tier bosses and they made the right call in introducing the Bril 3 in Nightmare. (I think 1 Bril 2 should be destruction rewards for Brutal, 1 Bril 1 for Hard)
If small fleets are struggling with Bril 3, then some other method should be used to obtain it. I think the two most feasible would be OEs(we had a couple that only went to Bril 2) or Make new Starbase levels for them.

I have to agree. I had to leave my former fleet as they did not want to merge with another fleet, and with the limited number of players doing FBB (it was around 20-25 per battle), could not get past Brutal. I think they just gave up on FBB.
Removing the replicator rations from voyages and dropping in some Bili 3 would be a nice bit. Same for the 2nd and 3rd tier of campaigns.....
... or some magnesite would help. Lower level captains might need them, but not if you are at a high level. Since it is unlikely (based on previous requests) that @STT Community will not remove the replicator rations from voyage Dilemmas, maybe only have them up through the 6 or 8 hour mark. Most captains that can get to 10 or more hours probably have a surplus of replicator rations.
I have so many replicator rations I will never be able to use them all.

Absolutely agree. I'm a node/chain solver in my fleet and get 'penalized' from a damage perspective and have to use extra valor just to make the 70M damage threshold on UNM. The reward for getting a node solved doesn't have to be huge.... these days if you are >CB13, you typically want magnesite. Maybe 100 magnesite/node solved will get more captains involved in solving nodes instead of just purely attacking 100% of the time.

... the question is for 'what'? Magnesite? Bil3? If for magnesite, how much would you get when you complete a 'build' (and would the amount be 32767 or some other value?)
In Gauntlet, either make Crew searchable, or put the 65%/45%/25% options at the top of the list. The way Voyage ships do highest AM first now.
In the past I mentioned this for voyages, I think I would have said gauntlet too.
But it would help to be able to click a button and see the crew that match the trait(s).
Edit: with gauntlet we would want to to see the 65% on top followed by 45%, and then 25%. Alternatively , clicking the button the first time, we get all crew that match one or more traits. Click it again, get all crew that matches two or more. Click again, get all crew that match all traits.

Yeah, I forgot to be clear.
65% at top of list.
Then 45%.
Then 25%.
Then the 5% Crew.
I could have went for yet another 65% Crew last night, but did not feel like searching visually for the un-Q Q, Trelane.
The visual recognition deficit also makes it hard for me to visually locate Crew.

If the crew are not in the top couple for their skills, no amount of 65% crit is going to make them a better choice.
Balok, Ransom, Mirror JLP, and TKK will all beat your Judge Q.
Defensive Phlox will beat your Q as "God"
Dread Pirate Q is not even in the top 10 options for CMD/SEC
Shroomies is behind Red Angel, Caretaker, Survivalist Kirk and many more for ENG/SCI and behind Ari bnBem, Gary Seven, Gangster Spock, and Ransom for SCI/SEC
Lothario is the only crew you selected with high enough proficiencies to be useful at 65% crit.

Ok 3 new rooms, one for Magnesite, one to upgrade B1 to B2 and one to upgrade B2 to B3

I was mainly concerned with "cherry-picking" fifteen I could blast through to finish the OE. If they then we're easy for others to finish their OE, that is just a bonus.
I had that combination, so it was a good example of how the Gauntlet "self-sorting" could be useful. For instance, there one combination I see in Gauntlet that I have never found the 65% Crew it is for.
Section 31/Constable/Musician, I believe it is. If the Gauntlet put SOMEONE at the top that could occasionally win, I'd be happy.

You've proved my point. If it put 65% crits at top regardless of proficiency, they would lose. Right now it has the best overall. Maybe a combination is marginally better, but if you can't find the crew with a high crit by scrolling a little, they're probably too weak to use anyway.

For me, when I play gauntlet which is rare now. I like to throw a bunch of 65% in just to have a little excitement in a round.
Also if I had judge Q I would pick Balok in a round especially if the reward for a win was 250. Figuring the odds would depend on starbase boosts though.

Adding a text search would solve this for both viewpoints.
In my opinion AviTrek is right in general, but sometimes a decent-but-not-great crew gets good enough bonuses to bring them to the top, and then you have to scroll forever to find them. For example, a Bartender/Ferengi/Gambler gauntlet would make Convergence Day Quark my second-best Gauntlet crew. He's normally my 62nd-best (according to the DNA spreadsheet, which matches the Gauntlet sorting system pretty closely).
