As much as I appreciate satire, and I assume your post is entirely satire based on the ending, I think you missed the objection: TPG reset the missions a day early (there was no indication that this was even an option).
There's two objections in this thread: (1) the Continuum being reset when some players expected it to last two weeks, and (2) the Continuum being reset one day early.
I addressed only the first, as it's not a good criticism. It's based on badly reading communications.
But I have nothing to say about the one-day-early reset. It's not a problem I noticed in my game, but I do not doubt that people have experienced it and have reason to feel aggravated. So, by all means, protest and contact Support.
Thank you for giving us permission to contact Support, I'll let them know that Astrometrics has given their permission for us to contact them to highlight anomalies within the latest feature to add to the long list of recent glitches.

The continuum was not reset one day early. One day before it was due to be reset it was cut down to 4 missions instead of 20, but this was not a reset. The reset happened as scheduled 24 hours later (give or take, we all know that they haven't yet managed to reset the missions on time). Nobody expected the continuum missions to last two weeks, however we did expect it to last one week without changes. Especially after WRG explicitly stated that it would.
Your argument is all based on an incomplete understanding of the facts. BTW, that's me being extremely diplomatic in my phrasing.
You may have had a different experience, but I absolutely had my missions cut down to 4, completely reset to no clearance AND was locked out of traveling to the missions. This was after refreshing with dil
In that case, I did have a different experience to you. My missions were cut down to 4, but the progress remained unchanged. This happened on both my accounts. My apologies on not picking up on the details, and on assuming that everyone had the same experience.
But whatever we call it, and whatever happened to each of us, WRG clearly did exactly what they said that they wouldn't. Regardless of the exact circumstances, going back on their word in this way is clearly unacceptable.
I guess you had completed the last 4 of the 20 missions on each level. Hince your progress was unchanged. Those of us not completing the last 4 of the 20, had their progress set to 0/12 completed. And could not play any of the missions, because the ship wouldn't wrap to the mission so I could start it. And also had to wait until the Mon night/Tue morning reset.

Not quite. I'd completed everything on my main account, but on my alt I'd only made it to the second mission on epic level. After the other missions were removed, my alt still had its partial progress and I was able to clear the 'final' 3 levels and get the dilithium. So I actually benefitted from the whole mess, but I still think that WRG's behaviour in this was unacceptable.
Not me, I went FTP when the third campaign tier was released and I realised that keeping up would mean more than doubling my monthly expenditure. They've had nothing off me except for watching some ads since then.
Sometimes, squeezing your customer base for more money doesn't work out as planned.
Mistakes are understandable. Repeated mistakes are frustrating. The complete and utter lack of communication is infuriating and disrespectful to the player base. The fact that we have gotten all of one single copy paste style message in every thread, and not until the day after it happened to boot, speaks to a team who cares not even a little bit about those who play the game.
What I find odd is that on the livestream that happened shortly after the initial launch went so badly wrong, @WRG Ben was both refreshingly candid about what had happened and IMO eloquent about how frustrating it was for everyone who had worked hard on the new feature. It's hard for me to understand why we don't get a similar style of communication here.

I agree completely.
To me, it just looks and feels like whatever “team” is working on this game, also has about 20 other higher priority items they are working on for other games.
Just seems like the directive was “squeeze as much as you can out of them, when it dries up we close up shop”

But your all still hear sending your money.
These people need to actually acknowledge how terrible they have been executing and send a global gift of extraordinary proportions.
Id like to see 5x legendary citations, 20x 10x premium pulls and 200k honor, along with a message saying “expect more problems with no compensation”
