    I'd have liked to have seen Mirror Archer in this mega-event, but oh well. Mirror Soval or any of the other Mirror Enterprise characters seen in the show, like Slar the Gorn slavemaster, Admiral Black, Mirror Captain Forrest, or even a Mirror Zefram Cochrane. Oh well, there are always future events.

    But yet, we get Mirror Janeway. I was okay with the Mirror TNG crew, because I like the TNG gang, and it was only one per week.

    I for one enjoy what I am seeing. Yes I get what people are saying about non-canon but this entire event has been based on the comic. If you expected a change now whose fault is that?

    That seems to be at odds with her comments in Parallax, about effect preceding cause. She seemed perfectly comfortable with temporal mechanics then.

    I posted this a few weeks ago. Literal loss for words, so nothing else to add to this news except my crushing disappointment.

    Sigh... Janeway, non-canon at that, is once again shoehorned in to an event already rife with non-canon characters.

    Couldn't we have had some love for TOS? Couldn't we have further explored the DS9 mirror crew that's canon?

    There are two bright spots though...

    Janeway is not the 5* and I get to save money next week.

    My personal theories: (1) someone important in the DB team really likes Janeway (my guess is Erin; after we burned her on all the Rikers, she's gone to her second choice). (2) Since the actors have to approve use of their likeness, Mulgrew is signing off on anything/everything, but Bakula is more picky.

    We were expecting ONE non-canon character from the IDW comics (just like the preceding weeks). This IS a change from the previous weeks.

    Instead we get 2 non-canon IDW characters and Mirror Janeway, who isn't even part of the IDW comics and was clearly just added because DB can't stop making Janeways.

    If this event were like previous weeks, it would have looked like:

    Mirror Inquisitor Troi 5* (New), Mirror Sulu 4* (New), Mirror Quark 4* (New)

    or

    Mirror Inquisitor Troi 5* (New), Mirror Archer 4* (Existing), Mirror Odo 4* (New)
