Cross posted my previous with Shan's announcement, but the point is still valid. I understand not pushing a fix to "treat all equally". However, the point still stands that it does affect more severely though who purchased packs or crew and got Mirror Crusher, who is not available to those who did not spend, thus not punishing and not providing the full value to those making an investment with an expectation of a return.
Sorry, as someone who bought a Bev pack before the event, I don't buy that argument at all. First of all, I noticed she works far better on the final mission than the other two, as the final one requires a higher skill level, plus she can also cover & crit the previous SCI node. But even if someone had planned to use her on that mission, it would be immediately obvious that she was not getting the max VP that she should have been getting there, so the smart move would have been to then use her on one of the other missions with MED instead. (I used Phlox there myself, after it became clear when reading the posts here on the forums that everybody was in the same boat on that node. And lots of folks had Mirror Phlox already, due to his usefulness in the Gauntlet.)
I don't understand your argument. You're arguing for DB that getting lower VP and not being able to use your event crew to it's fullest extent is worse that using unpurchased, uninvested, or non event crew that don't get the perks?
Mirror Bev was designed for this event, would work on all relevant nodes, provides more points, makes easier crew selection for missions, and allow other nodes to be gathered easier or at higher points?
How is it fair that those made an investment and who expected to receive these benefits, are
then denied them for the entire event. Then those who didn't invest are rewarded with a relatively higher score and less important path selection because the first group that invested are gimped?
Sorry, results of this mistake are NOT equal to all players, and those that will notice it the most are the ones who are the most invested.

My argument is that it didn't affect us any worse than anyone else, yes. And as far as being able to "use your event crew to its fullest extent," as I pointed out, if you used Mirror Bev on that mission, you were definitely not using her to her fullest extent.

Because you are comparing apples and oranges. You and I made an investment, but we weren't "denied" anything more than the people who did not spend to get that particular crew member.

I'm sorry, what? A "relatively higher score"? How? As I understand it, that Epic node gave the same rewards as if it were an Elite node [EDIT: whoops, I meant "Normal" node]. That is not "relatively higher" for anyone, by any stretch of the imagination.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing. ~ Data, ST:TNG "Haven"
No, both nodes are giving normal node bonuses. If you had prime event crew, you'd get increasingly more points using crew that gave 2250 points per ticket more VP.
I'm not going to continue this discussion, it's clear you have a different understanding that I do, and nothing is going to come of it. We can let the players decide if it would have been better for themselves if the crew they purchased were valuable or a hindrance here.
How about a problem with immortalized Blue T'pol not clearing a science node on the epic missions when her science stats are higher than the target number? There's a bug to fix. It's what prevents me from clearing all nodes.
