Tilly's mirror card (Spoilers may be within)

Now that we know of Tilly's mirror counterpart her card needs to be named Mirror Captian Killy. No other name would be better for her. She also needs a voice quote saying, "I will cut your tongue out and make you lick my boots".

You're right about the name, though. That's perfect. Or maybe "Mirror 'Killy' Tilly". And for an alternate voice quote: "What the heck? -- heh -- hell? What the hell?"
What a great episode.
We all knew it was coming with the mirror universe and after last months event, we know any character could end up with a mirror counterpart. I could have written that title much worse and doesn't actually say what happened within the episode.
Like boots?
good catch, and has been fixed since Grammarly didn't catch that as misspelled word and I didn't notice it either.
*I mean, don't actually do it. I'm just all a-tingle.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

And 1500+ Security, since Mirror.......
Wife & I just finished watching the "Despite Yourself" episode, and as others have mentioned already, the title of this thread pretty much gave away the mirror theme of the episode when it accidentally caught my eyes yesterday.....but I must admit that it didn't really diminish our enjoyment of the episode, it might even have enhanced it!
In fact, knowing that it takes place in the mirrorverse, I made my wife (who is a relative ST noob) watch the TOS episode "Mirror, Mirror", the 5 DS9 episodes, the 2 Enterprise episodes, and heck even the "Parallels" episode from TNG (close enough). One thing we noticed that is interesting was how in DS9 Kira gets to meet & interact with the mirror intendant (as well as other mirror counterparts in the other episodes), whereas in TOS and now in DIS the mirror counterparts (and even the whole ship) completely swapped places with each other and in essence can't ever see or interact with each other. Crazy Kirk never got to meet mild-mannered Kirk, just as Killy will probably not get to meet Tilly. If that's the case, then that means Discovery in some ways is more true to canon than DS9?
YOU'VE BROKEN MY MIND
just because you could have written the title "worse" does not mean that you are not being petulant by not changing it. Stop being a douche
Eh, there's nothing that establishes Prime and Mirror people can't meet one another, so there's no violation of canon by DS9. I do appreciate that DIS has at least started its entry into the Mirror Universe by knowing and tapping into the existing canonical lore of "In a Mirror, Darkly".
I've also been thinking it over and as best I recall--and here I would defer to someone who has more recently rewatched it--there's nothing in "Mirror, Mirror" that rules out there having been any previous crossovers. Our Kirk & co. are certainly unaware of where they are or what's going on, but it seems perfectly plausible that whatever transpires with the U.S.S. Discovery could be highly classified and not known to anyone in Kirk's command crew a decade later.
Of course, it could also turn out that the Discovery never actually makes it back to the original Prime time line anyway. The whole series could end up being a string of arcs in different timelines for all we know.

It could be a third (4th) Universe.
Jj-verse
Shatner-verse ("Prime")
Mirror-Verse
Discovery-Verse
And as such, plus touching the mirror- verse could thus extend "Canon" and correct errors.
All that needs to happen, is to see a normal Klingon in the mirror verse.
"What the hell is that ?"
"You forgot well a Klingon looks like ?"
"Uh, no of course not.. I'm just more and more shocked by there uglyness every time I see one of these stupid animals" (cover line, of course)
Back on Discovery later in they discuss this turn of events, reference the Defiant again but come to the conclusion that yet a Different universes Defiant, so similar to ours (Discovery's) must be what is referenced in the database
Thus the Mirror - verse would be the bridge between Shatner-verse and Discovery-Verse.
Spock of course links Shatner-verse with Jj-verse and Mirror.
(Then my Herc theory about the Klingons would fit perfectly.. that they conquered the Klingons proper in Discovery-Verse , stole they're heritage and mixed with them. - which could fit with the little we know of then from Kor on ds9)
That and a nice little bow to wrap it in and I'd be thrilled
The shows original show runner originally envisioned "the new series" as an anthology that wasn't necessarily set in one ship or to one time frame - so I'd this is a modified version of that vision.. I could get excited over that.
I've wanted an anthology style show for years.
With the tonal direction that this series was going, as she was saying that line I was 100% expecting it to end with a differently. You know what I mean. And don't tell me you didn't think it, too.
That is totally not what the Shatner-verse is. The Shatnerverse is the shared universe in all of the Shatner authored novels. Quite some time back it was clear that Shatner had differing opinions on how things should have played out with regards to his character so he began to ignore a lot of established cannon and a lot of "widely accepted non-cannon" that was established in other novels.
I only bring it up because "Shatnerverse" is a well known adjective for Shatner's novels, and only Shatner's novels.
And I would spend the Money that is needed to get them to 5 * - so what is DB waiting for?

Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.
@Copper A good remark, but there's a number of crew who could interact with themselves.
Both versions of Detmer are confirmed to be in the Mirror Universe and could interact with each other. Mirror Burnham is "presumed dead", and I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be alive (and angry about someone impersonating her). We are also missing one version of Lorca, who is said to be a fugitive (we don't know which version of Lorca is which, and where the other version is located, so yeah). We don't know about Mirror L'Rell, but she could be alive and kicking in the Resistance, and it's not likely that Mirror Saru was on Discovery.
I personally expect Burnham and Lorca to meet their other version, personally.
@Travis S McClain You aren't wrong, but it looks like Discovery is going to acquire every info about the Defiant and its sad demise (in which the whole crew died) in the Tholian Web episode.
If Discovery makes it back to its native universe, I'd find a bit callous if they didn't warn the Defiant and prevent the loss of a ship and her crew. However, there is no necessary logical impossibility, and the writers could have thought of it.
Read some interviews and stop being disappointed. Not the end of him by far...
Ahh good point, now that I think about it, I do remember seeing her on the mirror ShenZhou....and her cybernetic prime version on the Discovery. So from TOS & now Discovery, the "swap" only takes place when both prime & mirror versions are doing the exact same thing at the same time? So....that makes you wonder what the mirror Discovery was doing and where they were spore-driving to? What happened to its Stamet and, of course, Dr. Culber? What kinds of mayhem are they wrecking in our prime universe? The anthology idea seems cool....
In my opinion, DB was just a victim of a serious number of bad decisions on the part of the creative team, which affected the opportunities they have. They released Cadet Tilly as legendary, which was absolutely bonkers - especially because at the time, she was only a loud-mouth dropping F-Bombs and doing nothing much else. Now, when they actually have a worthy Legendary option for Tilly that people will go crazy about, they just can't do it - because how many legendary Tillies are we supposed to have? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if KIlly Tilly shows up as a super Rare just because the Legendary option is already taken...
Very much the same is valid for Birnham. Since it was clear that she will be the main character of the story, they released a Legendary version for First Officer Birnham and people were happy to spend. As the show progressed, we got the Super Rare Tactical Birnham, which people liked as well. With so many Birnhams released over such a short period of time, a Legendary Mirror Birnham is just too much and will just aggravate people, especially those who dislike Discovery or don't watch it.
Bottom line is, they should've used other crew to further the STT/Discovery tie-in, not just the same characters over and over. Cadet Tilly should have been a Super Rare at most. We should have gotten way more versions of Stamets and Culber, and maybe even a Detmer (even though she finally opened her mouth properly in the last episode)... Bad decisions, simple as that.
No he is not dead. Remember spores. Biology is physics...

Except the Spock part, its a popular trope. Hell, Marvel Secret Wars (III/2016), etc.
