    I already posted this is a blunder on DBs part in the key info thread. What need do you have to have the featured crew when you have so many bonus crew at hand? That will surely impact pack sales.

    May impact sales for some..
    I myself am already locked.

    I am buying an event pack, I want those crew.
    With it being a blood bath, I want more fire power.

    An I going to have every slot on every shuttle I send out filled with a bonus crew ? Yes.
    Are you likely, unless your new.
    Yes

    So what will tip the balance ?
    More powerful bonus crew to slightly mitigate dbRnG and various boosts.. and will power to chug through.

    In looking forward to this, as it is announced now and hope they don't change it.

    Likely an unpopular opinion, but I'd rather have a hugs storm then a bore storm.

    Also, for the record EVERY mega-event 5* is on the list. All of them have Brutal.
    DB: Do Better II. Disrupt the Beam's Revenue Stream.

    On the bright side, I may not have to worry about carefully choosing shuttles with about 30 active event crew

    Honestly after this week's scramble to up some randoms that I had hanging around to be even vaguely competitive, this will be a nice change of pace. It's possible I'll do worse than usual, but if I don't see 2/3 shuttles fail on every run...I'm probably okay with that.

    And 2/3 featured characters are ones I would love to have in my arsenal, so my chances of buying a pack are pretty high.

    Let's see how it plays out before we take out the pitchforks.

    I agree, this will be a bloodbath and I'm looking forward to it. It's something different for the first time in two years and I welcome such a twist.

    totally agree, will be fun to not have to hold back when adding bonus crew to spread them over shuttles. Timer boosts will be more needed than skill boosts I suspect.

    I'm only in this event for Gillian, hopefully she'll be the threshhold reward instead of the ranked. Then I can just do the rewards and pop right out and honour her up later. Provided all of course that she's decently statted.

    Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.

    I make it 102, plus the three Barclays. And you said Mirror Phlox twice.
    Still a swarm of them, I wonder if the shuttle chance will be raised to cope.

    Not actually complaining, just saying that WOW it will be different and here’s a reference list for anyone who wants to scour their crying chamber

    Welcome for reasons:

    * More shuttle successes = more (S31!) items, credits, and trainers for everyone
    * Less feelings of disappointment from failures
    * New players will have an easier time of achieving the 3/4 threshold, and be encouraged
    * Something different is fun!

    Experienced and higher paying players will still have a deeper selection of more advanced crew to work with.

    12 to 15 crew is all that is required. This event will be the same many others

    The list contain 3*’s, and they don’t count. I never count them.

    Also, expect every shuttle mission needing 5 crew!

    Con: Everyone else will also be swimming in bonus crew, making the featured crew even more necessary.

    Pro: My Gorn Captain finally gets to be bonus crew in an event!

    At least no one will be complaining about having too many shuttle slots that don't fit the bonus crew...

    I have around half of this list, but some are <4* and some 4*s have poorer stats for common skills than others (like Doc Crusher vs. every other Doctor I have)

    I am just hoping beyond all hope that Ms. Gillian is the threshold crew. Then I can dip out and not worry about competing too hard, spend the rest of my time immortalizing her (if she has nice stats) and lazily send out shuttles as I sip a mimosa.

    There are others on the list who are scientist doctors ... see Dr. David Marcus for example.

    That's not how shuttle difficulty works.

    Be prepared to lose as many shuttles as you usually do, in the long run.
