Does this mean that the bit about a cold war is actually a pun, because it doesn’t get much colder than Andor?
I always thought the Breen homeworld was colder, but sure, why not.
And god does this mean Temporal War arc? Wow
Actually the Breen homeworld has very temperate climate, and no no really knows why they were those cold suits...source DS9
That was what Weyoun said, however,
Mirror Intendant Kira stated that shed " met Breen icicles warmer than Professor Jennifer Sisko"
Quark referred to Odo once as being "Cold as a Breen winter"
Are you telling me that I can't trust everything Weyoun says? That can't be right.
I like playing Timelines. Still art is a serious factor, it makes the game more enjoyable when you like looking at the characters. Not a fan of the helmet hair, shading or the pencil arms they gave her.
Most important question I haven't seen answered: What version of Janeway will we end up with in this mega?
I've spoken with the dev team, it's Birthday Suit Janeway.
A party for everyone.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.
I’m very on board with Andorians vs Vulcans. Plus side is it means some Enterprise crew. Right?
Of course !
I think, Because Picard has taken over as COP founder we'll need someone strong to fill his void on the Enterprise Bridge.
Thank God we'll have "Nx-01 Captain Janeway" to take his place in the exciting conclusion of ..
Whatever the hell they decided this mega event was going to be named at 5:10pm this evening lol. Yeeeehawwww Narf !
It's very disappointing that we still don't have the information on the mega-event theme Ever since DB had their 'restructuring' we seem to be getting information like this later and later. I fear it will only be a matter of time until we won't know anything about an event until the packs are in the time portal.
That artwork is terrible. She better have some great stats.
Mirror Picard had pretty much the same artwork, at least he's useful. If she's got dual stats (like CMD/DIP), that will be a real pity.
I don’t think Mirror Picard looks all that bad, and he has the excuse of his source material. Cornwell has no such excuse. And the only way people won’t be disappointed about stats is if she is a strong MED primary with DIP/COM or maybe DIP/SEC as secondary skills.
Given that there are a number of strong MED crew for the gauntlet and that strong MED crew for shuttles are harder to come by, I imagine the only way we’ll keep the pitchforks in the shed is if her base med is somewhere between Crell Moset and Dr. Culber.

I'd say they've been spot on with the new schedule of information release, except when there's a major tie in with newly aired Discovery episodes. Which seems to be the case here.
Most of the Mega Event Legendary characters have had really good stats (except you Mr. 2 Skill T'Kuvma! - yes good stats, but 2 stat characters are generally useless for me). I really like the Admiral and I'm glad she is in the game, BUT if this mega event really is focused on the Andorian / Vulcan conflict then I have to ask DB: Why is Archer not the mega event recurring character? Or Shran? This is a HUGE missed opportunity in my opinion.
Admiral Cornwell has about much business being in a Vulcan-Andorian Mega Event as a vegan at a steak buffet. I really hope I'm wrong and this is some sort of temporal Mega Event or something else. If this is Vulcan/Andorian I think COP Founder Archer stands a really good chance of being featured in one of the events at least.

Yes, but the 'new schedule' itself was a moving of the goal posts. You may recall that we used to get some of the more detailed information about events on Friday, but now get it on Tuesday instead.
I'm guessing Command, Medical, Security, or Med/Com/Sec. Coming out of a coma, she's able to immediately assess her physical condition, ask for sit-rep/mission parameters and do a field diagnosis and treatment of PTSD. Not to mention going hand-to-hand with a Klingon and laying down cover fire with partial paralysis. If there's a Badass trait, she should certainly be in the running.

Again, they've been consistently delivering on the new schedule, except for Discovery tie ins. Yes, the new schedule is not as timely as it used to be. That's not the same as saying it's coming later and later, to the point where we'll get nothing until the packs go live.
If you want to complain about the new schedule, you can do it without the hyperbole.
On Twitter:
Hostile Andorians have taken the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery hostage on the Vulcan world of Paan Mokar. Uncover the truth behind who is reigniting the feud between Vulcans and Andorians, save the Discovery, and fight for peace in the month-long Mega-Event, "Ghosts of the Past!"

I disagree. I'm excited about Cornwell. She's proven herself in the new series, and as a psychologist/diplomat/fighter (please, DB!), she's well-equipped to figure out what's causing the new schism, who's behind it, and heal/fix it. She also knows what makes the USS Discovery special (spore drive), which is being held hostage. (I'm guessing that's somehow kept a secret so that no one in the future uses spore drive tech.)
Part of the theme of Timelines is crew from different times working together -- it can't be all ST:ENT crew solving a problem from their time. She's a great choice.
Plus, this is the first time the recurring crew member from a mega event isn't the bad guy. A nice change.
I think the art on Cornwell is pretty good considering recent attempts. It looks like the actress for one thing. She also looks a little worse for wear, and a little beat up, because this is her when she's a prisoner of the Klingons.
As for the event itself, I'm excited for an Andorian-Vulcan event (mainly the Andorian part), but disappointed with shoehorning Discovery in.
But as long as I can get a Jhemel and/or Talas out of it (maybe a new Shran?), I'll be happy.

I haven't seen Discovery yet, so I don't have a dog in the fight, but with that description and what I've read here, there are plenty of people who would not like to save the Discovery.
For me, the era matters. I'd suppose the original series Vulcans, but I would absolutely support the Enterprise Andorians.

I'm 100% supporting the Andorians here. They can do whatever they'd like to the Disco crew. Except Saru. I'll save Saru.

It's all very well having an event talking about the crew of the Discovery being held hostage. Only problem is by the time the mega event is over there probably won't be any crew left to hold hostage the way they get rid of them...

You do bring up several good points, and I didn't even think about the fact that this is the first non-villain Mega Legendary! Don't get me wrong, I really like Cornwell and I really want her! My main issue is that Archer and Shran are woefully under-utilized and this would have been the perfect time to use one of them. Looking at the previous mega events Legendary characters:
Borg - Borg Queen (pivotal to Borg related activity)
Klingon - Kortar (Klingon legend)
Discovery - T'Kuvma (pivotal to the plot of the show)
Comic Book Mirror - Mirror Picard (pivotal to the plot of the comic )
All of the Mega Legendary characters made sense to the overall theme of the event. I know that with the base plot of STT you can make ANYTHING mesh, BUT in the past the mesh-ups have made sense. This one does not, at least based on the info we have now. They are shoe-horning Discovery into the Vulcan/Andorian conflict. If this is revealed to be a Discovery event with a Vulcan/Andorian subplot then she makes perfect sense.
To me, this is like having a Dominion War Mega Event and making the Mega Event recurring character Gary Seven. I want both, and you could always fanfic it (let's face it, all of STT is just pure fan fiction). I just don't want both together ya know? I would want Gary Seven in a Temporal War Event or something, and I would want someone relevant to the Dominion War (like Sisko, Weyoun, Founder, etc.) in that event.
I am 100% with you on the fact that I really hope she has strong MED!
Edit/Additional thought:
I take it we would both LOVE to have Commodore Decker in the game, and I could see him being the Mega Event Legendary in an event involving the Doomsday Machine (THAT sounds like an awesome mega event where you could make ships relevant somehow). With the logic of mixing up characters though we could end up with someone like Alternate Future Janeway as the Mega legend, and that would just be harsh.

That sound like Archer should intervene once again and stop the war.
But of course instead of Archer we will get NX-01 Janeway or something.

Shan will post them here and in Starfleet Communications. As to when, I don't know. I usually wake up to find all the excitement has been and gone.
