Mine aren't very original. The only theme crews I've ever used are multiple versions of one character, different costumed characters from a particular episode or episodes like the Voyager B&W holodeck characters, or using a crew that matches the ship like all Romulans on the Warbird, all Borg on the Cube, Sisko and other DS9 mains on the Defiant.
Okay, I'm jealous of this one. I tried doing a variation of it with Vic and Sisko, plus General Martok (a bottle of Bloodwine in each hand) and/or Tourist Quark (a Horgah'n in each hand), but couldn't make it work. Obviously, substituting Martok and/or Quark would have been for the sake of humor. Mirror Bashir makes it work. Nicely done!

I think, given the nature of the theme, them having their guns to one another's back makes perfect sense.
