All I can add to this topic is this... If they add Number One, they sure as heck better add her in an event with Captain Pike... because I just finished leveling him recently.
What an odd poll. Three are in the game already. So why not just open a thread about the One who isn't but many people have expressed an interest in?
Was it just to start a conversation about hot Star Trek chicks? Why so few to choose from? Is hotness a desirable trait when collecting your crew? What about all the dudes in the game? Do you pick your Geordi's for their melting smiles?
The whole thing is pretty redic, since the actresses to choose from are ones either
Roddenberry left his wife for
One who claims to have been **tsk tsk** by someone high up in the Trek production staff before getting fired
Someone who claims to have been hit on by Roddenberry when he was with contestant number one. (which is corroborated by contestant number two's memoirs)
I kinda regret voting at all as it seems to boil down to some great roles portrayed actresses who went through some bad shenanigans in TOS -- and those bad experiences were directly related to their gender and 'hotness'.
As someone who has experienced sexual harassment in the workplace I should have been more sensitive at the onset.
I think asking people to vote on who is the most physically attractive or who has the most "sex appeal", which is the same as asking who is the most sexually desirable, is pretty degrading, IMO... Whether you're asking about a male or female...
Well thank you for sharing your opinion,
you don’t have to click on threads or polls that don’t interest you.
No need to spoil the fun for others.
It's funny how people are getting triggered over the admiration of female beauty. You should do a hottest alien poll as well. I nominate Kelinda from "By Any Other Name" and Andrea from "What Are Little Girls Made Of"
Uhura most definitely, but I feel bad for Chapel being rated lowest, she's definitely my second choice.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.

Those never did anything for me though, I guess I felt it was a little too try-hard for the sex appeal. To me, the best sex appeal, the best intrigue comes from someone who doesn't have to use or show a lot of body to get someone going.

Just a heads up for those following this series of polls, the DB team have moved the polls from the "Bridge' to 'Strange New Worlds'. You can find all upcoming polls linked to this series here.
Tbh, I found the poll initially offensive; women are objectified enough, and gawd knows in the 60s they were even more so. Those ladies who acted in Star Trek put up with a lot of misogyny - don't forget Grace Lee Whitney claimed she was sexually assaulted by executives associated with the series. That whole Harvey Weinstein thing makes my skin crawl, and it's a little to recent for me to find this poll just a bit of fun.
Also, it was the first poll in your series; attractive heroine. Not attractive hero firsrt, or sexiest hero, or hero with the nicest eyes/hair/face/nose/etc. It was women judged first by their physical attributes, and then men second.
But hey, you're putting up the male one next, so fair play. But I won't participate in this poll anyway. I would be much more interested in a poll that supported positive role models for women; bravest heroine, smartest heroine, kindest heroine, etc something like that.

Just because you disagree or dislike something, doesn’t mean you actually have to click on the link. Thanks for your entitled opinion.
But don’t spoil the fun of others just to satisfy your own sense of morality.

Tasteful or not, DB has shown a committment to at least trying to be somewhat PG, so I don’t think they’d go for swimwear.
That being said, I think this post can be interpreted that way, but I personally did not at first.
However, if you’re planning to do this with the guys, too, are you still thinking swimwear for them, too? :P

Shame on me, damnit.
