Borg faction, please?
The Borg are truly an underused resource in this game. I am thankful that there are at least a number of assimilated characters however, it's somewhat criminal that there isn't a Borg faction. There needs to be. Please make one...

We need more Borgs too. Since I've been playing after the Borg mega I actually don't have as many as older players.

I'm not against more Hirogen events. Not exactly my favorite species, but all for more of them for the people who want more. At least they have a faction. I just said that we need more Borg, and it's wrong that we don't have a Borg faction.

not sure if I like this idea or not. It would give the faction value and makes sense, but the likelihood of my desired faction item within the faction shuttles is so low already that I don't think it would used much beyond getting it max'ed out.
And the reason behind that is probably that the Borg are basically impossible to reason with and would just suggest assimilation as the solution to everything, like what @Jim Steele said. So a Unimatrix 0 faction would probably be the best option.

I get all of the logical explanations as to why there isn't a Borg faction, but it's a game and most of us still want a Borg faction. Maybe we can just pretend that the Borg find it in their best interests to temporarily "play nice" with other species during the temporal crisis.
I don't see why a Unimatrix Zero faction would not satisfy the desire for a Borg faction....
With two new factions being Species 8472 and The Borg Collective battling for the upper hand, and we have to decide who will win (as usual in any episode). ^^
This. It opens up one faction for some of the most formidable crew in Trek, while at the same time making sense from a story perspective. It's a no-brainer. It certainly makes much more sense than having two different Ferengi factions.
Wooooooww me likely
No true what about the hugh and lore eposides could maybe play off that with good borg and old style borg, maybe a 3rd faction helping the changed borg
I'd be quite excited to see this happen.
I would accept that...as long as we get Borg, I'll stop complaining...
YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!
I don't see much in a Borg faction as they are the enemy of everyone.
I agree with you, the Borg should be a faction... I don’t really care one way or the other for more Hirogen events...
Just pointing out that despite having so few crew and being a really minor part of the Trek-verse, the Hirogen have a faction... it’s a big oversight that the Borg do not...
Despite the Borg being everyone’s enemy, we are able to command a Cube... and have the Borg Queen and various drones in our crew...

Not that I am "opposed" to it, but DB doesn't actually have to fuse the Ferengi factions in order to give us more factions. Their system is obviously designed to simply add on more factions if they want, seeing as on occasion, a "ghost faction" appears in our factions section of the game. Most of us have seen it happen, maybe during a time where DB was in the process of doing some maintenance, etc...
I'm not even sure how to respond to this. The Borg are awesome and the Borg characters are some of the most popular in this game. They are one of the coolest things that TNG produced, and a species of people is still a species of people, even if they want to assimilate everyone as part of their existence. Besides, they're already in the game. You probably have a Borg on your crew right now, and maybe have one of their ships. It's just ridiculous that they don't have a faction.
