How is it possible that DB is so colossally bad at their job? JOB!!! You people get paid for this!! You go to an office or sign in each day to do a job. And this is the result? If any of us put out the same level of lackluster subpar results, with even a fraction of the frequency that you do, we would be fired. You guys insist on events every week. You insist on the same type of events every week. How is it possible that you can screw them up as much as you do. Explain this **tsk tsk**.

DB is the context.
This crap is not Shan's fault, it's like trying to use a Dixie cup to bail out the Titanic.
The event. They jacked up the event....again.
DB designs a game for which player MUST play as if it was a job, yet treat their actual job as if it's a game.
I hadn't started the event yet. I see it now.
1) why does it have to be chocolate cronuts? Why not plain or maple? All cronuts deserve a voice.
2) how in the everloving strawberry meringue cronut is this kind of stuff still happening with events? We were told that you needed extra time to get event notes correct which is why they had to come on Tuesdays. If that's the case, you need to make sure that event notes are correct. You also need to explicitly outline any intended changes. There's obviously some sort of missing link in the communication chain between designers, decision-makers, and Shan. It's incumbent upon you, DB, to figure out what's going wrong and fix it.

It feels like I’m always either playing an event, or preparing for one. Oftentimes both. When all the preparation gets thrown out the window when problems arise, it doesn’t make me want to buy event packs to compensate. It makes me want to quit.

This is one of the best I have seen. Well done!
Yes it is not @Shan fault that these issues happen but he is the face of the company, so unfairly he does take the brunt of the complaints
You can usally tell how he writes messages that he not happy ethier because he knows that it will be non stop for next two days
But @Shan a mass email with a hand full of chrons is not going to cut it this time
There have just been to many mistakes lately, and your mistakes are costing us money
This is sadly accurate. Iwht how much we HAVE to check in in order to not miss something (shuttles, gauntlet, dilemmas, chron boosts, etc) it really would be nice to have the game appear professionally done.
Perhaps part of the problem was that it was supposed to be a 3 faction event??
If you don't like the events don't play them. Others enjoy playing them.
They're in the event thread :P

If DB did more re-runs of past events, then perhaps they would have more time to error check new events?
Consider participating in civil discourse, understanding the Tardigrade, and wandering with the Subspace Eddies.
*throws hands in the air*
At this point if I was Shan, I would seriously be considering the much less stressful and fulfilling career of flipping burgers at McDonalds over constantly taking the brunt of *vanilla cronuts* for DB's epic failures.
I'll just leave this here.
Then why are there 12 missions?
Because... DB screwed up in a multitude of ways!! Number of factions, number of missions, rudimentary communication, ability to acknowledge one's own fault, basic business operations, yada yada yada...
