I mean, I guess there's nothing in the Hippocratic Oath against pilfering the dead dude's stuff, but it just seems kinda shady to me.

In fairness, we don't know that she didn't try and just came up empty handed.

I've had better luck fishing out boxes from acidic streams. I got a super-rare crew member that way once.

Seems legit for the age of sail, the owner of the ship was dead (or absent, or French) so it's salvage. Rule Britannia. Besides that's a mirror ship, their age of sail was probably, well, okay not that much different to ours, except they'd be extra cranky to be out in the sun.

This is legit the funniest thing I can recall ever reading on this forum, @Kaitee. I seldom laugh aloud at anything I read, but that did it.
