Under Future Plans, I asked: Do they intend to introduce a new Episode 9 and/or Distress Calls (Gagarin Belt?) between now and this summer’s DS9/Augments Mega-Event. 🖖🏻
"In the short run, the game defines the players. But in the long run, it's us players who define the game." — Nicky Case, The Evolution of Trust
I asked about compensation and rewards being updated: Squad rewards are worthless, Event rewards need to scale by % and need to be adjusted so ranking top 20 is worth more than top 1000, dismissed crew compensation needs to change. All these limit play, limit spending and limit competition. The game has changed and these need to change too.
I asked about if they have plans on improving the prize package for an arena victory. 1000 credits and the few ship schematics per day for daily rank is good but has not kept up with the current direction of the game. Any chance of adding replication rations and holo emitters would be appreciated.
I asked if there are any near-term plans to add new achievements and collections or add more levels to existing achievements and collections. Not that many people have surpassed the 350 immortals level, of course, but at the torrid pace at which new crew are introduced, it seems like more people will hit that level later this year.
So I asked about revamped event rewards being integrated into existing event types as well resurrected Expeditions and new event types such as a gauntlet style event., Defend ds9 event
I didn't ask anything. It doesn't matter what we ask since DB is going to go forward as they see fit. They may fix little issues, but they don't seem to be focusing on the things that players REALLY want like:
1) Arena reworking or Making Ships mean something.
2) Gauntlet Walls
3) Event Rewards structure
4) All FF/Immortal beholds happening way more often to more players
5) Buffing Voyages back to their original state
6) Consistent portal updates
Those are the ONLY things I really want them to talk about, but I have a feeling the only answer we would get it, "We are looking into it, or that's been discussed." I don't see what a Q & A will do. They already know what we want, they just won't do it. A Q & A is not going to bring anything new to the table. Oh well, I'm almost done with this game anyways. I'll just keep giving my money to other mobile games instead lol.
EDIT: Please no one say, "well they updated the portal at our request." They do not get props for that. it should have been done months ago.

"When are you adding a fleet leader board to the game?"

I asked about event reward structure as a way of addressing the honor rate, duplicate and other issues. For those interested, over in Make It So!, I've outlined a Threshold:Crew and Ranked:Honor event reward structure and have made a couple mockups of how that could function.
I decided to go ahead with making a fully percentage based ranked reward structure to demonstrate that it could be done. It's based on the (1,5) sequence outlined in the post above. If something like this was implemented the UI could hide the specific percentages to keep it cleaner. I included them for reference. It might be interesting to see how different estimates of active players in the event would alter the brackets. I ran a couple tests with different numbers and the tolerances seem ok to me.
I've not yet changed or smoothed the rewards, they are the same as version 001. Thoughts?

I asked her how in the movie "STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT" when everyone but Picard and Data and the Borg evacuated the ship and flew down to the surface on Gravette Island...
...and then Picard and Data saved the day and stopped the Borg....
...how long did the entire crew stay stranded down on that island in 2063 before an old man and a damaged robot could repair enough of the ships primary systems to either beam them back or send shuttles down to get them - and in just a few hours no less as the time from the warp flight to first contact with the Vulcans was 8 hours.....
It's a pretty big plot hole when you think about it. I don't think it's a true story.

Good gravy, they can’t even pull off an error free event of their own invention....how are they gonna wrap their heads around this script anomaly

I do appreciate that. It should be like a private poll and that is why I didn’t reveal my question
I did not ask a question. I believe this whole Q&A session is just a feel good Dog and Pony show for the fan boys and new bloods. I have 0 confidence in DB to actually do the right thing by their players. If any changes are made to any of the balance issues that plague us (event rewards, ff beholds, etc.) They will just find a way to countersink it somehow.
I believe that DB are reaching a realm where they will become beyond the pale. When that happens it will be all downhill from then on. So enjoy the ride while it lasts, folks.

I'm all for giving people a way to put questions into the Q&A without having to be on here or, *shudder*, Facebook, but painting the forums as this uniform villainous mob is a little ridiculous. Not to mention off-putting and rather hostile?
I would recommend that Erin be prepared to answer at least some of the questions listed here, or the Q&A is going to look like a bad faith effort. If you just want to talk about what you want to talk about without taking serious questions, then don't bother calling it a Q&A, call it an announcement video or something else entirely.

Are you really refuting the notion that the forums are generally "off-putting and rather hostile" ?

I avoid the clickbaity thread titles and come here most frequently when there is a specific game announcement imminent (e.g., event info) or a problem I'm experiencing that may be widespread vs. just me (in which case I don't have to jump into the multi-week Customer Service hopper). There will always be a certain percentage of trolls on any public forum, and sure, they can be annoying, but I've also found a ton of very helpful people and information here (and on the old forums).
I don't find the attitude that the group of players who are most invested and thus most likely to present constructive ideas and/or criticism are too small a percentage of the game's players to be worth listening to to be one I appreciate, nor am I particularly pleased to be told that our input should be unwelcome because there are some people on the forums who just like to pick fights online because they have nothing better to do with their time.

I ask if there were any plans on releasing the rest of the TNG bridge crew as Age of Sail (Picard, Data, Troi, Worf).

I’ll try again...
Will you stop gouging players for 15k honor for a single 1/5 in the Faction store?
#5kFactionStore
(You said dil and not honor in the actual question, right?)
Meant dil yes 🙄
I also asked "how will the event reward structure be reworked/rebalanced to account for the growing playerbase?"
1) Arena reworking or Making Ships mean something.
2) Gauntlet Walls
3) Event Rewards structure
4) All FF/Immortal beholds happening way more often to more players
5) Buffing Voyages back to their original state

I wonder when DB said ‘we listen to you’ where do they get that from. Definitely not from QnA..
Truth be told, many characters entering the game are player/user requests...so they do tend to listen some on that front.
Stellar. Thanks I added the same question, and asked about Fleet rewards as well.
