It gets "better". 10-pulls don't count for as 10 for "3 pulls" achievement any more, just as 1. Or at least booster 10-packs don't.
PS. If I knew that beforehand I wouldn't opened all those common 1-pulls I got from gauntlet... would had hundred or two in reserve instead of requirement of spending money.
Standard 10 pull on iOS DOES still count. Standard 10 pull on facebook did NOT. I also did not receive a char of any kind on the facebook pull.
I guess since they were forced to publish drop rates, they want to preempt any potential losses by offering less value to players. Or it's a "bug" that won't get fixed any time soon. Still waiting on that several months old bug "Known Issue: Building and then equipping an item on a crew will require the "Understood" button to be pressed to allow further interactions with that crew. A fix will go live with our next client update."
I used game room to do an account, and i went to portal, and opened one of the ten pull shuttle boost packs from academy on Thursday. I was expecting it to give me the daily reward "purchase redeem three packs". It counted the ten pull as 1/3. So i did another and it went to 2/3. One more ten pack took it to the 3/3, that one ten pull usually counts as.
So i tried on the phone (android) on another account, and one ten pull counted as all three to get the daily award out of the way.
I know facebook was updated with the drop rates yesterday, so maybe since this only happened on gameroom, i thought it might be connected to the update from yesterday. But just something odd i thought you might want to hear about and maybe have a look at. Thanks.

If you look, it seems like they mucked with the entire section. All of the honor crew I've redeemed are back, and the $9.99 offer for Romulan Kirk that I already purchased is back as well. They'll figure it out, we'll get something for free, case closed.
If it were a bug, Shan would be on here telling everyone to calm down. It is intentional. It is also minor for most players, but it would have hit me hard when I was starting.

When I started in October of 2016, it was there. When we had another discussion regarding it and odds back in Feb of 2017 it was there. (I specifically remember some advice Frank gave me regarding the cadets and credit packs.)
Whenever it changed it was a stealth nerf. And as I still haven't had a pack not give a 2* I believe it's a recent nerf and my device not having a new client is tied to it.
Can you show a pack that didn't get a 2* that is more than a week ago that you pulled on a credit pack?
Just realized this is a small Honor gain nerf as well. Where's Amb X and his honor charts when you need them
A fix is in the works. If you've been negatively affected, please submit a support ticket with Player Support and they can work with you on a case-by-case basis.
