The guy in first, in any event, is always an easy target for people to accuse of this type of thing, especially if they have a significant lead. Having the time, patience and dedication to play this much is apparently inconceivable to some folks so the only possible conclusion is that he must be cheating.
It's funny how no-one has mentioned the player in 2nd at all. If you haven't noticed, he's been keeping pace with Rowden this whole time and yet no-one has accused him of using macros.
As far as I know, ASK was doing it for the lootboxes at the ends of battles.
Is this conversation REALLY happening? I mean ... REALLY?
Veterans of the game know how to play the game well, and make efficient use of resources, including dilithium, even if it means they are robotically tapping the game like crazy.
Just play your own game, quit worrying about others. All the math and obsessiveness just screams nerdgasm and envy.
I think its fair to wonder if players are using alternative methods and unfair advantages to cheat the game and system.
Accusing people directly with no evidence is not fair and should be discouraged. Baseless accusations do no one any good.
I think a lot of people wonder a few things. 1) Who has the time to pull off xyz score and effort, to them it seems unrealistic 2) What kind of funding does it take to reach that threshold, because theres no way you get to the top without spending some serious cash. I myself have wondered what it would take to get a high rank in this event, time money, etc. These are natural questions in a game format such as this.
It’s just sour grapes... just because you can’t or won’t do something, doesn’t mean someone else can’t... once you grind enough, there is a rhythm to skipping through animations and how long the loading/pausing parts are... and you can burn through the event...

The top score currently for this event is 3,925,200.
On epic, with highest bonus, the max vp you can get is 6,000 plus any rewards you get between battles.
My best time to complete a skirmish (all 5 battles) is 2 minutes and 43 seconds. But for this, I will say 3 minutes.
3,925,200 vp highest current score / 6,000 vp for each skirmish = 654.2 skirmishes
You raise an interesting point here, but I know some in my fleet that are able to clear all 5 battles in barely over a minute (6-8 seconds per battle, plus click-through all the animations) because of their kick-*Vegan Poutine* ship & crew combo. Assuming that the leader is likely running a similar, high-octane ship/crew, then that same score/# of skirmishes could be obtained in just 12-15ish hours of solid grinding.
Granted, most people would also need some time to run other ship missions to replenish Intel, but that's still a realistic timeframe for a committed event leader to dedicate towards the game this far into the event.
The 2 minutes and 43 seconds include all the transitions animations that you can’t skip. The battle itself takes approximately 8 to 10 seconds. 40 seconds of battles plus all the transitions. I timed myself by doing screen recording. From the from first click of starting the skirmish to when you get the last vp reward.

Your load time varies compared to others. I've run plenty of sub 2:30 tickets, and nearly 3:30 tickets with no difference in battle time on different devices.
Just to state the obvious, I am actually playing the game and would never cheat in an event.
And you really should have more evidence when accusing someone than, essentially, 'the only way to get that many points is to play the event for a large number of hours and/or buy bonus rewards'.
Which is why I never stated your name. Anyone in top ranking is “hmmm that is a lot of hours playing. Very odd hmmm.” Which is why I made sure to state that I am confuse by the high score and that I would love to know if I’m missing something. #Data1001 mentioned the possibility of tag teaming which didn’t occur to me

This is one of the few events you can actually estimate the length of time it takes to get a score. Using my example, 30 hrs of constant play in 42 hrs is an eye opener.

Which raises a good question. Is there a way to speed up the transition animation. Because most of the total time is waiting for the battle to start and battle to end after the is ship destroyed. Like a game speed adjuster thingy.

lol ... wasn't the point I was trying to make but I can see how it sounded as if I were accusing ASK of the same thing. Was not my intention. I was simply stating that anyone in the #1 position is simply more visible and therefore more prone to these type of accusations, debates, questions, etc.

Numerous fleet mates in KM have been accused of cheating, including myself.
We have several passionate players, who enjoy playing the game, as constructed.
None of us need to cheat, and any player caught cheating would be dismissed.
You probably know me better as my in game name... Stones.
All right, as it seems the conversation will continue to derail, I am closing this thread.
Feel free to start a new thread around strategies if you like, thanks
