So what is there to do at 'end game'?

Been playing since soon after launch and a VIP13 now f2p player as I'm done throwing money at this game.
Basically I have no cards that are */5 or >2/4 to work on, and my chron stockpile is increasing massively with voyages. With only one story node not fully starred needing investigator (as detailed in another thread) there really is nothing to do except wait for each event to get more crew to work on.
Any others in similar position and what do you do to keep interested, or is time to walk away (for a bit?)?

I’m getting to that point. I have 6 crew members at level 90, the rest are 100. I’m thinking once I get them all there weekend events are what I will work towards. Build up chrons, shuttle boosts, and just coast during the week until the events
  • As it turns out ... this really is a card collecting game 😊
  • you are already talking about end game before you even have even 50 immortalized legendary crews? It is too early for you buddy ;)

It is crew collecting game and gambling of course...

    rinse and repeat.

As of Saturday, I've completely leveled and equipped all the crew members I currently have, so I've been looking at this situation myself. I've personally redefined the game more as being about events.

Rather than chasing new crew members through the Time Portal, I've been focusing on stockpiling key items (Casings, Clothing Patterns, Databases, Identification Codes, Polyalloys, Starfleet Uniform Patterns). This week's event will feature Blood Oath Jadzia Dax, whom I have already immortalized. If she's the threshold reward, then I won't have anyone new until the end of the event; if she's the rank reward, then I should be able to equip the new character quickly.

I've also been running a lot of space missions so I can contribute as many Holoemitters to my fleet's Starbase as possible.

Wow, so is it that there are no characters y'all are interested in, or that y'all have literally leveled em all up?

I'm staying away from portals, but always find someone else to level up, admittedly I'm only a year into play. Chasing the events has seen to some of that. I keep some characters I really don't like so that I can use them to get ones that I do.

In my case, I have plenty who still need stars and there are still several more that I'd like to get, but I'm not going to go chasing them in the Time Portal. Playing for a year as strictly F2P/VIP 0 taught me the importance of patience in this game. My budget for indulging in this game is small, and even if I wanted to loosen the purse strings a little, some of the recent goings on have made me apprehensive about the security and longevity of this game.

That year as F2P also taught me to be selective. At times, I let go of a crew member I really wanted to keep because I instead needed to hold on to someone with a specific trait or who had significantly better stats. I'm at the point now where I can be more selective based on who interests me, and take my chances that letting someone with strong stats go by will be okay. There's always someone new next week, after all.

Very true on the new crew and things do come back. And I am right there with you portal wise. I might get an event pack this coming week to FF the new STD crew if I feel like it, but the Gauntlet, Voyages and Galaxies give me enough to pull should I desire to try to get new crew. I'd be tempted to do a 5 star behold for honor if I wasn't trying to FF some main cast ones like Mobile Doctor.

Collect new crew, compete in gauntlet, immortalise as many crew as you can...lots to do if you like those sorts of completionist/gambling-oriented goals (I do).

Collecting and immortalizing are really just different shades of the same thing. I do compete in the Gauntlet, but it's only ever been a peripheral dalliance.

I've never really had much interest in games in general, so I'm unlikely to take up something new. Plenty of other things to do, though!

I'm at the point where I only have 1or2/4*'s to level. Presently I just bank items and do 90K pulls to see what turns up. Hell, I usually forget to use the replicator most days.

There are a substantial amount of 4*'s (and B'Etor) I don't have and I'm not above getting a new monthly card if I feel like it. Just waiting for events and seeing what voyages give me. I got Baseball Kira a couple days ago. A 1/4 is not useful but I'm happy to have the character.

  • Here's some of what I do: a) collect new crew and level them immediately because it's shiny and new, b) run space battles to help the fleet's starbase get holoemitters, c) get bored of a) and b) so just hoard chrons like I'm the Sultaness of Timelines, d) spend more time talking about the game than playing the game, e) send voyages or play gauntlet sometimes, f) rank top 1k in shuttle events/clear thresholds in others because I can, and finally g) open other, newer accounts with game left to play on them.

  • Ha, I'm having a similar issue right now. I'm working on all my cadets and I've run out of all trainers and my chronitons are beginning to stock up (which I don't like). I've also wasted about 10,000 honor on legendary trainers so I feel like a nation that is despereatly running low on Money (credits), Gold (honor), and Oil (trainers), but ive got a big population to deal with (about 20 one star crew). Hope that legendary trainer pack comes back around...and soon!

I have all the 1,2,3, and 4 star crew I desire immortalized. All my 5 star crew is at 100 but they are so ridiculously hard to get I harbor no dreams of their immortalization. Today I was leveling Tilly. Needed a 3 star poly alloy and a 2 star database to finish a build. So I’d get 18 chrons, run an ad for the database. The ad would freeze so I restarted the game, run the ad again and get no database. Then I ran my 18 chron mission to try for the poly alloy. Wouldn’t drop. I literally did this six times with no luck on either. Did it the better part of the day with no luck. Mind you the database mission has FIVE pips. The Polly alloy has THREE. It was at that moment I said to myself “what the **** am I doing with my life”?

Hmm, so the game ends when you spend enough money to to get 50 immortalized crew? Guess it's never going to end for me since I only have 2 until the next event, then I'll get my third.. All mine were gotten through mega events and honor not spending money buddy :)

    b) run space battles to help the fleet's starbase get holoemitters.

I think every fleet needs some folks dedicated to that. I'm do my best on that as soon as my event crew is ready for the each event, but definitely not as dedicated as Silver.
  • I recently pulled some Ensign Crushers and decided to finally keep and immortalize him. It dawned on me that I could now go fishing for the Ktarian Game, so that's my latest thing to do. So far, I'm 0-1 on scanning for it. Exciting times, kids!

My fleet has a list of alternative ship battle missions with similar drop rates. It has helped us greatly, as we only have one room to go.
  • I am in a similar situation. Its Voyages. Voyages broke the game. I now I can level almost any new crew the same day I get them with all the Chronitons I get from Voyages. I feel all "whale-like".
Credits and the occasional 4* casing is the only thing that slows me down. I now have over 400 units of each replicator ration so even 100 level super rare and legendary items do not stop me.

I pulled from the ENT portal just because I ran out of crew to level. So Trip and Soval with keep me occupied for 3 days.

I hate Galaxy events but I will play enough to grab the new O'Brien just because he's somebody to level.
