I don't just run 6 cadets, I stack them from Friday (after stacking Sun-Wed for Thursday shuttle boosts). Buy extra 6 credits for 150 dilithium 2x for Friday to get to 18/6, then twice again on Saturday to make it 30/6). 80k x 30 runs = 2.4 M credits.

Can you explain this? Do you mean:

Friday gives you 6 cadet tickets
You buy 6 more tickets and use none of them
THOSE 12 carry over into Saturday and you get 6 MORE cadet tickets
    ?
    does that actually work?

There's some very good discussion on this thread, but i've found that whenever i am running low on credits (down to 35K now and it was under 1000 last night), i just start to replicate cheap items like 0* holos and bloodwine until the next Saturday aka credit day!

    Yes, please clarify.

I do believe this is possible, but I think we would all like it verified. I would love to have known this at the beginning of the week to get 30/6 shuttle boosts for the faction event!
I want to become a Dilionaire...

Have some control and plan your credits. We all play by the same rules.

The number of posts that are flagged in this thread is insane.

Its clearly being abused, as flagging is supposed to be for breaking community guidelines and rules.

Wow and this got flagged as well. Speaking the plain truth is considered 'fake posts' by some folks I guess.

Shan seems to be real good at policing this place when it comes to Community rules, think she can/will root out the bad flagger and give them a personal snip?

Edit: I feel like a got some form of community badge, as this one has been flagged as spam AND marked awesome. Living the ying and the yang!

Everyone saying the credit issue was not a problem before voyages, is missing the point.

Replications were ALWAYS expensive and Resources were ALWAYS an issue BY DESIGN. Voyages just shifted the resource crunch from Replicator Rations and items to Credits. The reason credits weren't as much of a problem before, was because replicating 3-5* items was COSTLY in terms of rations and items. Replications WERE ALWAYS resource intensive and expensive, but now, instead of being limited by the amount of rations, items, schematics, or trainers available for replication we are now limited by credits.

These limitations always existed, we were just limited in other ways before. Once it was crew slots, once it was chrons, once it was items, once it was trainers, once it was rations, and now it is credits.

Yeah yeah yeah... I need to learn to be patient, I get it.... but how long does it take to learn patience, I’m kind of on a schedule???

This thread is hilarious. Poor guy thought everyone was gonna be on board with him. Post this and be the cool guy who started the thread that changed the world. Instead y’all raked him over the coals. Very entertaining. Bottom line, I buy 4 extra sets of tickets Saturday. Gives me 30 mission runs, over 2 million credits. Done. I do find it funny though that I have the finest engineers and scientists in the galaxy on my crew, yet it appears I am paying someone to build (craft) items for me.

to summarize - DB please please give us more credits

    1. Reduce the credit requirement for replicator or crafting
    2. increase the credit payout from voyage/dailies/PvP/gauntlet, and also missions
    3. add event threshold reward after 135k vp points
for every 50k pts after that, give us 500k credits
    4. replace every trainers on event threshold reward to 500k credits

#4 This event in the threshold the reward is 2x 4* Trainers not unreasonable to switch out for credits. Two 4* trainers don't even level a crew from 90-91

That says more about the quantity of the trainers than it does the need to eliminate them.

Agreed hardly seems worth it T'kuvma is 25k Vp and you get two Sareks yet 60k Vp is 2 x 4* trainers why not add credits too to the 60k Vp threshold you need both to level crew

Again, that says more about how many trainers are in the reward, not whether trainers should be in the rewards.

    You're a peach.

Though I'm guessing you don't have many friends to tell if that is what you find gratifying. But to each his own. I forgot that some people can't handle the idea of others having different opinions and they want to see those people "raked over the coals". Anyone who gets "enjoyment" out of that has serious problems.

    Case closed.

And as if throwing in some "advice" after a personal attack makes it legit. Like I said, this whole thing says more about your character than mine.
  • I have to agree with the OP. Credit issues are a real concern for much of the player base. Though I would probably be just as happy with fewer replicator rations coming in from voyages as I would with more credits

I'd actually like to see both an increase in credits and a reduction in replicator rations.
  • [BL] Q [BL] Q ✭✭✭✭✭
At this point Shan should close the thread and call it a no contest
  • What you need to understand is that there will always be a bottleneck. Whether it is replicators, chronitons or even characters. It is now credits' turn... and they are all essentially be able to be skipped (by design!) with the purchase of real money Dilithium. I am certain that this is what was intended with the addition of Voyages. They gave us the initial 3 (replicators, chronitons, characters) in abundance.

I for one welcome the credit bottleneck, as it is very manageable, for example, there is a weekly relief on Saturdays. I can also choose to buy credits once a day for the price of a 2nd pull on the dabo wheel. I prefer this, as it is better the devil you know.
  • I'm neither agreeing nor disagreeing with the points raised, but since this is starting to read like a Christmas list to Santa, here's my request: a 5* Jadzia Dax in a Risa bikini, oh, and it must be Easter Egg-able. Have her fusable with 5* Loin-cloth Worf and we'll have a winner!

    "Please, Santa? Pretty please?"
In the immortal words of Spock: "Live long and prosper"
  • You need credits ? So today's cadet challenge might be your choice : 77500 credits per run at last epic mission 😊

Also the dailys dropes some credits with clearing it

You can hardly overuse the replicator when you only get 5. And if you don't use it, you are wasting it. That said, this loss of credits is virtually ALL from building items. I used my replicator this morning to buy a few faction only items but that was it.

And don't get me started on how having to spend credits for replicating is also wrong, when you already spend resources to run missions to acquire the replicator rations and equipment to replicate in the first place. But that's a different thread.

5 Time a legendary Item makes over a million a day. So you can easily overuse it, if you are a little bit greedy ;)

Its better replicating only Parts of an legendary item than the whole item .....well depends on the item itself ....if it wants multiple 4* stuff its better replicating the whole item for sure , some items like 4* gold pressed latinum arent replicate able and you have to replicate the whole legendary item for sure ......

But Most legendary items are easier to get with replicating Parts of the item

I'd appreciate if the time/day in relation to reset is clarified. I surmise what is the benefit over just getting 4 extra sets on sat is avoiding the escalating costs. The first 2 sets cost 150 dil each. Wanting to avoid the next cost tier is ideal.
