Its nice to take a stance, have ideals.. but to prove a point by cheating the system against all the other players out here doing it as outlined, sorry Bro's. My folks raised me to play honestly, with integrity . How your trying to prove a point to DB is wrong. For this Event DB should penalize the BRO's and give everyone else 50000 honor.

Hi, I'm a BRO!
You seem to be implying that we are cheating. We are not. I promise you.
We have people who are spending money this event because they want to, and they believe in the ideals of BRO.
That's why some of their scores are so high.
Others of us have boosts saved up, and we are waking up every few hours during the night to rotate them. Not for rank, or personal gain. (Seriously- scores this event will be ridiculous. It is not the time for a smart individual to try for a rank achievement.)
But because we have fun playing this game, and we have even more fun when we play it together. So we set aside all of the things that separate us. Whether it be fleets, a 40 year age difference, 7,000 miles, an ocean, politics, philosophies, the fact that some of us have Voyager as a favorite series, etc.
We are all still BROs.
There's no gaming the system.
We left behind our fleet bonuses for a level one starbase. BROs aren't about being malicious or cheating. We are about acceptance and love.
We are not doing this for DB.
We are doing it for the players.
Because sometimes we all get so caught up in what went wrong this week that we can't remember what went right.
Its nice to take a stance, have ideals.. but to prove a point by cheating the system against all the other players out here doing it as outlined, sorry Bro's. I'm just saying play as intended. Join a fleet, stick with a fleet and build. We can still get along as individuals in different Fleets (or should), its called being a good Sport. If cheating was too harsh of a word for you. Its just a word my generation uses when playing the game other than the rules intended.

No one in brofleet is playing the game in any way other than the rules intend.
But, in all seriousness, I don't think anyone called Band Aid a group of cheaters for uniting together. This is a happy, fun thing that's promoting a spirit of fellowship.
While we're all here, being BROthers in arms, I just want to say thanks to the players who got attacked last week for putting together the Fleederboard, Wiki, Crew-Cost Finder, and all the mad spreadsheets that me and my own wonderful fleet use all the time to help us build and level our crew. Your work is appreciated by thousands and it turns something confusing into something constructive and fun.

Why not relax a bit now? We surely can forget about many things over time (if ALL can let it go at some point) and take this bro-time as a reminder for fairplay and being respectfull to each other again.
I resent the implication of cheating.... I've had 5 weeks worth of boosts saved up with buying cadet tickets twice Thursdays, also spent on the offer giving me more boosts. Now if buying boosts bothers you, take it up with DB. Or maybe this is not the game for you.

So, to be clear- you are saying that the game is intended for you to join a fleet, and never leave?
If that were the case, why would there be a leave fleet button? Why would it be so easy to jump fleets?
Besides... if I recall correctly, you've been in more than two or three fleets yourself.

You would be incorrect. 2 Fleets with no hopping around. And there is more to the story that I posted to you. If I'm incorrect then my apologies, but I don't take being called a troll kindly for posting what I felt. Now you weren't the one to call me a troll. .
I edited the tone of my reply, as you replied as I was typing. All good.
I can promise you, whatever is being bandied about regarding tactics or cheating just simply isn't true.
Let's have some stats real quick about the first place squad:
Captain Sisko [AA] - unless I can be proven otherwise, the *only* player in the game that has collected and immortalized all available cards - 577/577. Also the current record holder of most "First to Max" claims on a card with roughly 35%. Also the highest (or second highest) active ranked captain in the game at 95.
Stones[KM] - Second only to Sisko in crew and level at 94. Also tied for having won the most events in 3 years with 4 individual wins. If Sisko isn't at the table, Stones is the strongest player in the game.
Tin Man [KM] - Above where I said Stones was tied for most event wins? That's because he's tied with Tin Man. 4 individual event wins, day 1 player.
I Data [KM] - "only" level 85 and "only" has 3 individual event wins.
SilverRose [eXo] - The "weakest" of the 5 at level 85, also second behind Sisko in all First to Max cards.
5 players, 3 fleets, a collection of talent in one squad you will probably never see again outside this week, and a cummulative VIP point store/lifetime spend of probably close to $200,000 US on this game.

I feel so conflicted right now. Sure, our squad is awesome. But... you know... you did just call the only woman in the Blues BROthers "weak" and "crazy"...

Unfortunately, this kind of accusations is all too familiar to me and my fleet. As far as I can remember (since nearly the fleet's creation), such words have always been thrown around to describe us, none of them true. To see this again with such strength comes almost as an unburdening of the "them devil cheaters" title we seem to carry everywhere.
All in all, I encourage you to carry on. The concern (read scorn/envy/"insert here") of others ain't worth the dirt in your shoe.
I think you guys are mean and cruel to go into a low level fleet just leave the guy in the end like here have a nice laugh on me thanks for nothing... its not like there is a fleet reward, and since he is in one of your squads most likely he still wont get but crummy rewards anyhow... you guys are not doing this guy a favor...Comment moderated. ˜Shan I just wanna add to this tho... so you know i have no problem with bro but dont just bail on him after an event that is just selfish! this whole thread should be taken down and give the players who wanted a chance to compete some sorrytons. You people are making the game fun for no-one but yourselves.

Seriously, keep drama out of these forums, and out of the game. It is not such a weird concept.
