Awesome, I'm glad you got her back. I truly believe that regardless of skills and traits, it really makes a difference to have the characters you really like, even if sometimes they are in the freezer.
(And yes, I do need to do better at reading for comprehension as I would have seen that the first time....)

Agreed.

I agree that crew management is important, although I am puzzled with why DB would not like to motivate people of buying more packs & doing well on the event.
Maybe I'll start with most important step.... skipping next
Legendary torch bearer prob going to be a useless legendary crew in all future events unless it has some unique trait that no one else has (like 'torch bearer')
Note. I will not skip event entirely, since I want riker & klingon o'brien
One thing you might consider is focus and juggling regarding cadets. Cut them down to the neccessary regarding the missions you want to farm atm (for me its 4green + 3blues). You just freed 7 slots compared to others prepared for every possible mission.
Then leave your 3 blues in the freezer. Saturday airlock 3 crew - unfreeze the blue cadets - play missions - freeze - and dont forget your airlocked crew
Same on sunday.
Another 3 slots for about 130 merits / day.
That said, i am getting a problem myself due to the large amount of 1/4 from voyages...
Reshuffling blues/greens even though can be done seems just a waste of merits & time.
I have 185 total slots:
* 16 reserved blues & greens for Cadets & battle arena. Shuffling them in and out just wasting merits.
* 78 yellows with 4 FF/FE and many just 1/5* (so yes, getting within 1k rank in event is a blessing and a curse)
* About 27 slot for FF/FE purples. Few for battle arena & mainly for event/shuttles. And I rotate them as needed for event
* The rest are several 4/4* purples I cannot train (insufficient credits) & many not even FF purples that just sit there collecting protons
Most of us prob have done enough managing & juggling tons of stuff with work & life.
Honestly I am playing mobile game hoping that it is more relaxing and doing less of thinking
If I want more beyond that, then I could just do PC/console gaming.
Seems like we are in a different league regarding this problem.
105 slots
38 yellows
11 greens + blues for Arena + Cadets
23 immortalized purples with about 6 or 7 swappable for events
The rest 4* not FF --> possible airlocks included due to lousy stats.
So if things come down to it i will just throw a few 1/4 as i will get them again at some Point anyway. So still quite a lot of 1/5 possible before it is a real problem. Still i would prefer to hoard and immortalize even the lousy 4*
Swapping is only short term solution, still its overall the most cost effective.
I've focused largely on immortalizing and icing 4* crew. I like collecting them, and thanks to the achievements it's now rewarding to do so.
With my 170 slots (160 in use), I have:
- 69 5* crew, the majority 1/5. 46 of these are FF/FE, mostly getting attention as they become relevant in events or if I see a need in the Gauntlet or on Voyages.
- 69 4* crew. Of these, 24 are FF/FE, some recalled for the current event and others mainstays due to ridiculous stats/necessity in the arena. Importantly, 20 are 1/4 or 2/4 and at level 10 or below; in the old days I'd jettison these crew and if space gets tight I will again.
- 22 3* or less crew. Of these, 12 are FF/FE and kept for the arena and cadet assignments. The other 10 are 1/3 or 2/3, as my current ambition is immortalizing all 3* crew. Again, if necessary, I could jettison all of them for space.
Like OP, credits are my main restriction right now, with Voyages having done much to ensure I have enough chronitons.
Personally, I'm content with my crew slots at the moment. I have 10 free, 30 capable of being jettisoned if needed, and 33 more that I could ice if space got tight.
My problems with the game are more focused on the many, many mistakes of execution than they are a lack of resources.
Make some hard choices, but i do get where the crew slot issue is comming from....im vip 14 so i have a lot of unoccupied spots but the prices for more are very absur.
Your topic sounds like you have to pay for events.
Credits are literally raining on us.
Remember the time before Voyages, before "daily Missions" and before Gauntlet.
How did you survive, without all these credits? How could you participate in events and level your crew?
Simple answer: There was no replicator or at least no oversupply of rations.
Since you get hundreds of replicator rations every voyage, you can replicate 4 Star and even 5 Star Items.
And wooosh, Credits are gone!
In the first week of voyages, I was broke too. Spent 450k to replicate just 5 Items.
Then I stopped, creating 4 and 5 Star Items, and within 10 days (and an event), I had almost a million credits!
We survived by airlocking crew getting credits and trainers.
Hundreds of replicator rations per voyage are you sending them over a week?
15hrs in I've 22x4*rations and 28x 3* rations
Having said that when I go over 30-31hrs I'm likely to see 100-240x 4* rations but not everyone can make it that far so your assement is an exaggeration.
From what I read here, everyone has their own sets of challenges and frustrations in the game. Right now, one of mine is crew slots. Have only one open at the moment, and it will cost me 2,500 dil to add five more, which ain't gonna happen. So, it's time to level and vault the 3*'s that I have no use for and have been neglecting in favor of leveling crew for participation in faction events. After two weeks of running full throttle in these faction events, planning on taking it easy next event, and shifting my priority towards immortalizing and vaulting the unneeded 3*'s that are clogging up space. Next one is a galaxy, with new crew that I don't need or really want. Except maybe for Klingon O'Brien. Hope the Liberty for All chron package will be made available again...never can have enough of those.
