I'd like a return of Locutus--I started playing just around the time he was removed, and I'm sure there must be many other players who never had a chance to get him either. (I know, you can still get him, but 20,000 gauntlet rounds is a lot...) I also only ever got one Guinan, so wouldn't mind her coming back either.
Oh, and if we're wishing freely, wouldn't it be great if they put them both back, and then you could get a behold with Locutus, Guinan and the Caretaker and you can pick whichever one you haven't got?
I've been holding out hope they'll rotate the "retired" gauntlet characters into the honor hall.
This, or extending the gauntlet achievement with each of them as a reward.
That would work, but I worry about what the reward levels would be. 20,000 rounds is a lot...if the rewards beyond that are more than, say, 5,000 rounds apart it would be ridiculous for all but the most dedicated of gauntleteers to try and get them.
I mean...I hit 20k rounds in June and was far from the first. I'm probably at 30k already. It just requires consistent play.

Does the counter keep going after 20K? I would guess if and when they extend the reward tables they will just start at 20K for all those past it already.

It seems to me they could have done it at 10k, 20k, and 30k -- Locutus, Guinan, Caretaker -- respectively. After that many gauntlet rounds, you've earned them, and it gives a way to guarantee you get something over the long haul, for those not treated well by RNG.

Unknown. The only achievement they've "extended" was the one for immortals which took some effort on DB's part for extending it. Because of that, I suspect it will not be updated if/when they extend. Which is a huge disappointment, to be sure. For every game I've played with achievements, the game continues to count, even if you "cap" the rewards for one. It's a nice log of what you've done.
Still don't have The Caretaker ... but am not a Gauntlet stalwart like many here ... I just play when I can and am only now about to hit 5,000 (I did get Guinan and Locutus).
It would be nice if they continued the rewards like has been suggested ... it would at least be nice for those who haven't been able to pick up the 5* ... and 30k of Gauntlet rounds doesn't feel like getting something for nothing that's for sure.
Anyway, one of the reasons I left Guinan at 4/5 ... who knows, maybe one day? ...
(off topic) Other achievements that would be nice to have continue ... Participate in an event.

Well, let's say "very consistent" play. I was playing Gauntlet from the beginning, and have played as much as I can each day since, and I'm only at about 17,000 rounds right now. Some fleetmates have been surprised I haven't gotten as many rounds as they have, but then we figured it just came down to them getting one or two more rounds done each day, on average, than I have been doing. I have a few commitments during the day which occasionally make me miss a round... oh, and I also actually sleep through the night, lol.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing. ~ Data, ST:TNG "Haven"

Same here - I’ve missed maybe only a couple days since the Gauntlet’s release due to pesky things like family and friends. Even so, I do not set 4 hour timers and drop everything I am doing to pick up my phone and run Gauntlet matches. I also very rarely use merit refreshes and never use dilithium revives. As a result, I’m sitting at 14,580 rounds and wonder if I will even reach the achievement before DB decides to add any more levels to it.

Right there with you, I hit 17,000 this morning, so "consistent" could also be spelled "constant" I think.
Edit: looking at my numbers, averaging about 35 a day, which is with minimal merits usage and almost no dilithium spend.
I'm far, far behind all of you at 3,120. I took a nine-month break from the game late last year, but I am also an inconsistent gauntleteer. Even so, extending the achievements would be a nice carrot to dangle out as a motivator for those of us that have yet to get lucky.
I must be doing Gauntlet wrong, because I've been playing everyday since achievements were introduced and I have most of the Gauntlet heavyweights FE (Locutus, Guinan, Caretaker, Mirror Picard, Gangster Spock, Chancellor Gowron) but I haven't cracked 9,000 rounds yet. I also never seem to have merits for all the merit pulls everyone else seems to be doing all the time.

Those that pointed out it may be a DIS character have a good point.
OTOH I do like the idea of Suspiria.
If it IS Discovery, my vote (if we're going with the 'otherworldly/transcendent' theme) would be some version of Stamets in his Spore-Coma (or just before)
I'm not sure there's any character yet in Discovery that has earned Gauntlet rights yet. The only character on the show that might fit was probably T'Kuvma or perhaps The Prophet...both of whom are already the game. Maybe the guy from "Calypso" next week?

Given the deluge-like influx of Discovery characters during season 1, my thought was less about prominence and more about cross marketing.
That being said, I still think Pike would make a good gauntlet legend, Hunter or Mount.
My 8-Point STT Strategy:
1. Voyage.
2. Have fun. If something isn't fun, don't do it.
3. Only pursue characters I care about.
4. Contribute to the fleet.
5. No more spending beyond monthly cards.
6. Have fun.
7. Voyage.
8. Have fun!
I'd kind of dig The Emissary. As a cultural figure, Sisko was a huge part of the show and that particular storyline really had a huge impact on the events in a large part of the Galaxy. I suspect cmd/dip/sec proficiencies would impact on Kahless's usefulness though, and I'd expect to see someone who doesn't have the same proficiencies as the gauntlet beasts we already have in the game.
I'd sort of expect someone with science and command as the next boss, perhaps with security as the third skill to provide some balance for that skill. Who that might be is anyone's guess really, but I'd be hunting for someone with those 3 skills myself.

Well if we do SCI/CMD/SEC then my suggestion of Number One matches that perfect
Besides, god is she way overdue.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.

Well we'll probably get the new version because she features in Disco Season 2.
Which is probably not quite what everyone has in mind but there you go...
Voyager 6, please.
Engineering, science, security?
Maybe engineering, sci or sec, and medical (since V'Ger ripped Ilia apart and probed her back together).
I'm definitely up for V'Ger, but only if they make it the fused version of Decker/Ilia/V'ger, so Merged V'Ger Creator. Having just a big satellite would somehow not allow me to suspend my disbelief enough that it could be crew. But then again, given time, maybe...
While the idea of large 20th Century Probe being in my character list tickles my sense of absurdity a little. I'm not saying triple fused ascended V'Ger is a bad idea either. That being said, the last time I recall us talking about including Capt/Cmdr Decker in game that set off a crapstorm about Stephen Collins' accusations of child sexual abuse... So I'm still leaning towards space probe.
It isn't just an accusation if you confess, like he has.
Posted this on another thread but here goes again.....
So Nomad clearly has great security as it zapped two red shirts out of existence, zapped the 'high security' cell out of existence and zapped more than 4 billion people out of existence from the Malurian star system. Its attack on the Enterprise was equivalent to 90 photon torpedoes in 1 blast while taking 0 damage from Enterprise return fire.
Next trait would be Medical. Nomad killed Scotty but after reviewing the medical files was able to repair the damage and bring him back. Nomad also mind wiped Uhura without doing any damage, so clearly it had good medical knowledge.
Engineering would be the third trait, Nomad "effected repairs" to the Enterprise and increased engine efficiency by 57%.
So something like SEC/MED/ENG or SEC/ENG/MED, I will be ALL IN for that card!
Founding ADM - PoF family of fleets (POF, POF2 & POF3) - Dear TP: Non sequitur. Your facts are uncoordinated.
I just got a Caretaker from a 3-win streak reward, woohoo!
That being said, two gauntlets ago I ended at number 1. I read before that a lot of people have gotten a Caretaker in a streak after winning a gauntlet.

DS9 character must be the next for Gauntlet. Why? Because it is the most popular show.
There are so many good choices from DS9
Prophet Kira
Pai-wraith Jake Sisko
Ascendent Benjamin Sisko
War Drug Garak
Time-traveler O'Brien
Chancellor Martok
Grand Nagus Grint
