SSR is a competitive group of individuals that works together well but also knows how to kick back and not take things too seriously. We tear down and rebuild squads and leaders every week to play to each player's crew strengths and event preferences, so there's ample opportunities to lead a squad if you have a great share, or just sit back and enjoy a casual weekend of playing lightly, if that's your thing for that week.

We're looking for 1, maybe 2 highly active captains, for our primary fleet, who love participating in events and enjoy participating in a community of fleets. We have two fleets, Second Star to the Right , our primary fleet, and the SSR Delta Flyers, our secondary, slightly more casual fleet.
We've prided ourselves in building a culture where players work together, gather and share high level information, are competitive in events, have an active community, and lack the drama that have been a plague in other parts of the game. We have a selfless base of members and are always eager to help. We're typically a top 10 fleet, with several top fleet finishes, and six individual event winners.

We rotate squads every week and pick new leaders every week. In faction events, we choose leaders based on your event goal (if trying to hit a high rank achievement or top 25 or better) or best crew share, so everyone has a potential chance to lead a squad.
