Special Effort Awards: 16 votes, 12 votes and 8 votes to three multi-Haiku collections, "C.O.P. Haiku Founder's Collection" (5000 Quatloos), "Illustrated Haikus", a.k.a. "Tantalizing Trill, sweet as Jumja" (Data1001), and "Ode to Jeffery Combs" (Chief Eud{{DD}}rick) If calculated on a per-Haiku basis, however, these would only rank 3.2, 3.0 and 2.7 each. Note: the displayed scores may or may not actually depend on the order in which the haiku are listed. A ticket has been submitted.

Thus ends the midseason finale. But good news! During our brief hiatus, we will be bringing you a special set of "minikus", limited to a 3/1/3 syllable format, and each with a new Distress Call mission to earn even more Kazon furs.
And 2019 promises even more! Several third tier characters from the first volume will star in a whole new set of haiku in which the Federation provokes war with an entire quadrant by, well, going all Manifest Destiny on their a****s and relentlessly invadingexploring their turf after being asked not to, pointedly and repeatedly. But it will have lots of cool Klingon stuff and if you can make it to season 4, you'll find that it kind of grows on you anyway. As a bonus, Jeffery Combs will be the only actor in each haiku, portraying every character.
We're also in preliminary talks to develop "Haiku: The Animated Series", in which all syllables are replaced with animated GIFs. H/TAS will tentatively revolve around the early days of Spock's 3rd cousin Ralph, who we will retcon in with much subtlety and finesse. Trust us.

Data1001 also received 9 votes for "just omit the at", though I'm not sure whether to count as it is self-referential to a prior 'ku.

Hey, no fair getting a head start on the minikus!
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.
