I don't want to calculate how much dilithium that is...
10 packs at 350 dil is 3500 Dil, but in his case, the 10 packs were from the $100 and $25 packs so 125$ to not get any Spocks and 600 schematics is rather pants.
So I bought 3 packs trying to get at least some of these schematics - Zero Nada Zilch. Its not like the ship really does anything at 1/10 but really. Total waste of money.
Agreed, it took me 5 ship packs to get 1x 150 5* Enterprise A schematics.
I think that there is an issue with DB drop rates for this offer.
It was not my day today. I got exactly 600 from 10 packs I got from the 100 and 25$ offers. Not only is that a awful rate, but took me 31 packs to get 1 Spock.
Wow...that is a 1-in-10 nonillion chance (1 followed by 31 zeroes: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000). There isn't even an official scientific prefix (like kilo-, mega-, nano-) for that! That is the same order of magnitude as the rest mass of an electron (in kilograms), a.k.a. really, really, really tiny.
I don't want to calculate how much dilithium that is...
Going 0/30 is a 4% event. It was $125 plus 12k dil.

Wow, I did the inverse event, which would be getting Spock in 31 straight packs.
We actually never saw much of the A in any kind of glory. We saw it briefly at the end of The Voyage Home (Yorktown renamed). For The Final Frontier it was a broken bucket of bolts but as "the only ship in the quadrant" it got a run out - but then the Big Bird of the Galaxy told us that the movie was apocryphal so did it really happen? That leaves only The Undiscovered Country, where it finally lived up to its billing as a hero ship.
The one ship I've been waiting to get, and I won't be able to get it. Spent through my 1900 or so dilihium I was saving for voyages from my monthly card. Got through the event to get the first set of schematics, but not going to get the second set.
I'm just bumped out that I won't be getting the Enterprise A

Even though it isn't the same ship, the A looks pretty much the same as the refit Enterprise from the first 3 movies. So in a sense, we got the A representing both movie Enterprises.

Yeah...like any mobile game, STT has more than a few dubious microtransactions to **tsk tsk** players money away, but the premium ship packs are abusive and deplorable, and beyond any justification whatsoever for their obscene price gouging. A ship that isn’t max level is a glorified digital paperweight; a ship that is max, if level 5 has occasional marginal bonus value for voyages, but otherwise only has whatever value over free ships is dictated in practice by the ship balancing team and arena awards, so realistically still next to nothing.
I spent over $100 working on the Valdore when it showed up because that was a ship I’d been hoping to see added since I started playing a long while back. Barely managed to get it to 5/10 even with the event schematics. It’s an obviously broken system, DB’s gameplay team has to know it, I’m 100% certain it’s been pointed out to customer service, and yet they continue to do nothing about the atrocity that is premium ship packs.
I know I’m not the biggest whale in the game, but I’m a VIP 14, and I’ve stopped spending entirely because of how obtuse DB is with premium ships on top of everything else questionable in their pricing models.
I don't care about leveling the A, but it was my most wanted, so I used all my DIL ( I haven't even bought a monthly pass in a few months) for 1 pull and got my 100 schems. I'm flying it around the galaxy, I'm happy.
The Constitution Class Refit is my favorite ship in all Star Trek. Y'all fix the nacelles and I might even play pack roulette to get the last schematics needed to build it...

Sorry to hear it are you near any of the achievements or collections to pick up more DIL?

Agreed on both counts (though I already bit on a pack and got the needed schems). It's probably my favorite ship in all of sci-fi, let alone Star Trek, and seeing those lit-up nacelles just depresses the hell out of me.
Took me three packs, but I eventually pulled enough schematics to put with the ones from the thresholds to at least build her at level 1. I hope these schematics turn up in the Arena soon. I'd kinda like to use it for Voyages from time to time. I have to admit, before we got Captain Spock and now the Enterprise-A, I didn't feel incomplete without them but now that they're in the game and I have both, I do feel a surprising element of completion.
Bought four ship packs, got zero Enterprise A schematics. So frustrating. I would have happily given DB $ for the last 25 schematics. Why don’t they make that possible, like they do with the featured crew?
Has DB indicated when we might see “A’s” schematics as part of dabo, faction stores, Arena awards etc.??
I'm still waiting on Breen and Jem Hedar schems.
Enterprise A can get in line behind Valdore and Captain Proton's rocket.
I spent the best part of 2000 Dil in the end trying to get 25 schematics just so I could fly the sodding ship. DB need to take a leaf out of the late Steve Jobs's book, "Give them what they want" as this whole RND model just reinforces the fact that I am done spending on this game!

I suppose people have to learn for themselves. A number of people said at the beginning of this post including TOP that basically the packs are a bad deal and don't throw your $$ away.
Yeah, I wanted a lot of the recent ships too but it's just not worth spending money (and lots of $$ at that) to get one build for a ship you are never going to use except to display your bridge crew.
When you think about it, this is really the almost same strategy used to market crack cocaine. They give you the first one for free then try to get you to chase that buzz until all your money is gone. And I really question that strategy as a long term marketing plan. Each week they increase the group of people who have buyers remorse faster then the small group who received satisfaction to the point where their user base becomes increasingly hostile and less likely to spend. In the short term they can make up for that with user turnover. However if that is what they are thinking, I'd say that is short sighted given that Star Trek fans are not an unlimited resource.
I really do try not to be overly critical of DB because I do enjoy this game and I don't have a problem throwing some $$ their way from time to time. However, I also don't want to feel ripped off when I do spend my money.

We all learn a lesson the hard way sometimes. For me, it was when they were trying out that $10 special deal for ship schematics and I jumped all over it because it was the ISS Defiant. Then I got I think 150 or 300 total Defiant schematics and a ton that I didn’t care about...it was a total waste of money. I haven’t seen a ship come up that I wanted as badly but I will simply wait until they end up in arena rewards or the portal pool.

It's called "gambling" and that's why it should and will be banned from the gaming industry.
Devs nowadays have 0 confidence in their products so they go for the exploitation of human flaws, like gambling compulsion. Shameful with no excuses for it.
I managed to get an extra 100 schems to get me to level 2. Still going to take about 8 months to see the schems in the Arena for rewards.
Here are a couple simple tweaks they need to fix:
Reliant has detail in the Warp Nacelles
How hard would it be to match that to the Enterprise-A?
I know the color is still way off, but that simple fix was a lot harder than I thought it would be too...
Better than the original by far though:
And finally, the blue blob:

to This:
very very well done - now can you (or DB) get rid of those gridlines along the hull AND saucer? I certainly don't remember seeing them be that dark and visible in scenes like these...
It's the first time I've ever bothered to spend on ship schematic packs. How disappointing. Not even a level one Ent-A to show for my money - and I finished 452 in the event.
At least crack cocaine gives one a buzz (I would imagine!)
I normally do ok trying to get some extra ships schematics but it almost felt like they knew people wanted the A so made the drop chance lower this time. I know ships packs are a waste at the best of time this seemed even worse. So after many many tries I have no enterprise A. But two star Vulcan ships coming out my ears.
I’ve always thought that DB should offer alternate skins or textures for some ships, so you could have, for example, either the muted grey scheme of the K’Tinga from TMP or the more colorful one from TUC, or in this case nacelles with black instead of blue. The E-A is a bit cartoony looking but still beautiful. My biggest complaint with it is that the model is small and can’t be zoomed in as close as Reliant.

I know it'd never happen because the 3D ship battles just use the standard models, but it would be fun to be able to totally customize our ships. Like, put racing stripes, a shark mouth, or flames on the side.

The main deflector is so much better with the gradient than without. Thanks for that. It makes the whole ship pop.
It's sad we couldn't be given the screen used ship with that deflector array and the black nacelles.
