Since this is skirmish/expedition I assume we only get three Demora Sulu without packs? Is that correct?
Unless there is a surprise change to the event format with phase 2 community awards, I would expect this to be like previous Skirmish and Expedition events where a pack purchase will be required to complete the threshold crew.
How so? His base is good fully fused, but he is not strong security for voyages compared to others I could fully fuse.
He said security beast. Not Voyages security beast. For day to day shuttle use, Shuttle/Sisko events he will be quite useful. This game is not all about Voyages after all...
Can someone explain how expedition works again I've only ever done one and it was many months ago.
I assume you need to use event crew on the away team to get the most VP? Do you just need one event crew for it to work, or do multiple event crew on the away team give even more VP?
I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying the new crew in this event.
Demora Sulu is a great add, and while I would have pegged her for CMD primary and either SCI/ENG secondary, the art is great and it's just good to have her in-game.
A strong version of Archer, with great art and three skills and a good primary, is a big gain for those of us who enjoyed (at least parts of) Enterprise.
High Roller Sisko has been on my want list for quite a while and looks good. I wish he got engineering as his third skill a little more often than he does (his backstory is all engineering, a lot of his hobbies are engineering, etc.) but I'm quibbling.

You need to use everyone in your roster. Event crew and pilots will just fatigue slower than normal crew.

Many times you'll end up using non-event, non-bonus crew for certain nodes, as they will be your strongest. After you've cleared one of the missions, it's not a bad idea to write down exactly what crew you used there, so you can use them again in the next round.
Also, the order you do the missions in makes a big difference. Personally I like to start with the hardest mission and work my way back to the easiest one, so I know I've got enough oomph to complete them all. But sometimes it pays to mess with that order a bit, for instance if you know a certain powerful crew member works better in an earlier mission — say, for instance, they have two solid skills which are both needed in that mission, but if you used them in a harder mission, they only need one of those skills.

That's what I thought. So VP are the reward nodes and you get some VP when you complete a mission right? But having event crew in your away team doesn't reward extra VP it just fatigues them slower.
And once all the reward nodes are gotten, you can still go through and do the missions for end VP? Or once all the nodes are gotten the ticket is up?

Fair point. I'm just debating who to win and cite up.
It would be fantastic to find out how many expedition tickets we will be getting daily. Since many of us are going to start the Expedition Phase with +3 tickets from Threshold rewards, it would be nice to know how many tickets we need to run through in the first 12 hours or risk losing tickets.

Here it is with less cropping...
I considered replacing my version with that one after I saw it posted, but then I had to leave something for you to do.

Wait, I had something for this...

No community rewards, as there is no Galaxy phase in this event.

Thanks!
So event crew does double VP then? Like it has to be an event crew used on that particular node to get the double VP?
I do, however, know that the event crew fatigue at a lesser rate, which makes them important.
As far as I remember, yes event crew doubles vp per node which makes having the event 5* (Archer in this case) important if you want to rank well.
