    The spate of "I just placed a new personal best!" posts after an Expedition (even a Hybrid) is my favorite part about the format. Players who stick it out see their investment of time rewarded. There's usually a certain element of surprise--especially among players who have only known Faction and Galaxy formats and have a reasonable sense of where to anticipate their rankings without emptying the coffers.

    Dug up this old thread. There's some interesting gems. It looks like the crew sorting and filtering feature was not available in the last skirmish.

    There's some little gems in here. It's kind of interesting to see how some things have changed and some have not. :)
