I'm hoping that staying in top 1000 for the skirmish half means if I complete all 9 expedition tickets I will stay top 1000. I have no intention of buying extra tickets.
But top 1000 in the first half was hard. I leveled 5 crew from nothing with focus as much as possible (even with bad return rates) on ship missions. I didn't actually check, but I believe I earned 80K intel. I finally ran out with 492,800 VP. I'm not bothering to get more since this is not a full skirmish.
My bridge officer troi only got 1000 points per node for epic lvl. Should she not be getting 3000 points per node as she is event crew?
My smelly Troi got the 2000 where I used her. But was too sloshed to crit the last node on epic on the last mission, so got squat. Maybe they still need to crit to get the VP though?

Yep, my error. I was doing the mid lvl one. Sigh I hate expedition events.
Ugh, I really hate these expedition events. Once you clear all of the starred nodes, it's just grind, grind, grind...

Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."
I forget who mentioned it, but you can start on the Epic Track, and work down. Lot easier to grind higher Points.......
I also suggest starting with the last mission on epic and working backwards - that way, the highlest-difficulty nodes are handled by your best crew when they are rested.

The same crew, especially if bonus, can usually handle most of the lower difficulty missions again, too.
The downside of endless ship skirmishes, now my muscle memory is causing my Arena battles to fail, because the strategy is completely different.
I noticed this too after the first skirmish event. As a result, I no longer use the same ship in Skirmish that I use in Arena. Two separate motor programs. No confusion.
Not that it matters, but I use the Bounty in arena and the Cube in skirmish. The thing I hate about the Cube for skirmish is that I can only see the opponent's ship about 10% of the time since it fills most of the screen. Makes a long grind even longer since there isn't even a battle to watch. But I like my line-up and they melt the baddies, so it's just something I live with.
Yeah, if they could at least put butt-cheeks on the back of the cube so we had something to watch. Not suggesting anyone do photoshopping or anything like that.
Question: for all of you who have been begging for another expedition for months and months, what the BLEEP?! Though I will say it's been nice to have a few days off without having to worry about a weekend event.
Please next Expedition, can we have bonus crews come up at the top of the scroll thing even if they're tired. Please.
This. Trying to scroll on the tablet jumps Demora every time. I have to look before I do the last node to see what her Security is so I can narrow her down........
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
Pulled a pack to try to get the 4th star for Demora. Got it and a begold, took Culber even though my heart wanted me to take O’Brien.
That would have been an especially difficult choice for me! I might have picked the Vulcan Executioner just as a compromise.
It was very tough. O’Brien is one of my favorite characters and DS9 is probably tied with TNG for my favorite Trek. I wanted to take him based on that’s but Culber becomes my #3 MED at 1/5 and that MED SCI combo is tough to pass up.
Am I missing a button or something? Went thru the whole expedition at all three levels and now there is nothing left to do. I see a Cancel button, but nothing that lets me play again For more points. What am I missing?

Hit cancel. Then you can start a new ticket. The button is poorly labeled. It should be "end ticket" not "cancel"
This. Clear all the Nodes {36} then "Cancel" and start a new Ticket. If your Crew has some juice left, you can clear a few Missions first for the Completion Reward. 50/75/100 Points, IIRC.

Culber is a pretty strong Med, IIRC. Top three or four?
Also, you have the last 5* to cross off the Portal Update in the middle slot..........
Do Expedition Missions count for the 20 Daily Chore Away Team Missions?
Do they drop regular equipment in some Nodes?

Yes, they do count towards the daily chores.
I forget, I don't think they drop regular equipment. They definitely don't drop special equipment.
Thanx. I can save Chronies doing the other 14 Away Team Missions.

Not to mention how ridiculous Archer looks wherever he is used.
He's trying to make sure they don't notice him.
Yep, my error. I was doing the mid lvl one. Sigh I hate expedition events.

Next time I should take some notes so I can figure out how to better utilize them
