Soooo many crew slots! But that also effectively means, Commander Division in the Arena is officially dead.
To get the double-item adwarp, you'll still need to run the mission manually. Otherwise you'll miss out on 450K credits every Saturday and lots of chronitons and shuttle boosters through the week, not to mention doubling rare items like holoemitters.
edit: oops, I'm not thinking right. Can just hit "warp", not "ad-warp!"
What is "Ad-Warp" and why can't Scott do it?

I will agree that this is very good in many ways, but I will politely state that I would still like a crew slot sale. I have buckets of dilithium waiting to use for slots. About 10 free slots from frozen cadets is great. I will happily use them. I have 27 premium pulls for crew slot sales, though, and I would buy more if I had space.
If I remember correctly, you play on facebook and ad warps are not supported on FB.
Sisko: What are you gonna learn in the next few months that you haven't already learned in the last 300 years?
Ezri Dax: Oh, how to keep from breaking into tears for no reason...
Granted, I've only seen the update on Facebook and Steam, but the "mission complete" interface looks different. Are we SURE we'll be able to double the rewards? Asking for Thursday and Saturday.

Here's what the success screen looks like on Steam client. I want confirmation the iOS and Android app will have the ability to double rewards:
OMG, why would you just assume DB would screw that up? I think a good close look at their track record will..oh...never mind.

What is even the point of having 2-3*s (not to mention 1*) anymore if you can simply warp cadet missions? Why not simply make 1-3*s not count against crew slots, or simply permanently discount the cost of crew slots?
Even when I was FTP I had more than enough crew slots to handle cadet missions and the rest. Sure, I was limited in what I could do, but I could still do a lot.
I don't really see making them warp-able as a good or bad improvement, it's just... Meh.
Guys, I still feel like warping them is going to lose us the ability to double rewards. Thus giving incentive to keep the crew in hand.
I guess we will find out at 12:01 tonight? Did they fix the Warps not counting for Daily?
Just make sure before freezing crew. Do a warp of a cadet mission, and then if you can double rewards do it. Then make sure you got credit for cadet mission in achievements. If not, do missions with cadets and try again next day.
Sad though, I thought it was an interesting game mechanic, requiring players to keep a well rounded crew in terms of rarity to do everything in the game. But I guess the overall game play has evolved and its time to put that away.
I will miss seeing Tourist Jadzia kick Command tuckass on the weekends though...
I actually agree. It added a different challenge. The whole reason they were introduced was to keep the 3 and 2 Star cards useful. Now only newer players will need to keep them in their crew until they Max out every cadet mission.
I always assumed they'd add new and different cadet mission. This seems to imply that's never going to be the case
I wonder if this marks the end of new uncommon and rare cards?

you still need to build the crew initially as a new player in order to unlock all the cadet missions before you can warp them. then they also count towards the total crew achievements. They are just not sitting around in all of our crew now who have LONG since critted all cadet missions.

This. You gotta master the Mission first. Also, 1* & 2* Crew can be quick and easy way to get Crew Immortalized for the Achievements..........

It's rare that DB makes a change that makes me happy, rarer still that it's good enough for me to comment on. Heck, I'll even buy a likely all honor 10 for $10 for the good will.
This is a great QoL improvement and I am stoked. Kudos, DB.

why i going to miss it if use warp because when i use warp on other mission i can watch video and have 2 time the reward the only way is going to afect us is maybe for arena need to keep at least two 3* to run all the arena
If the chatter about it not allowing double rewards turns out to be the case then this definitely will be soured a bit, but I'd still be able to freeze some crew that I use on days of the week I don't care about doubling. Saturday is really the only "must double" day for me as I'm always credit starved (too much replication on guys like that DAMN DOCTOR LAFORGE)
I play on Steam. I warped all my cadet challenges missions of the day and later noticed that none of them counted in achievements. Since I don't have enough dilithium to waste on the purchase of extra missions, I guess I won't be getting my daily reward today. Because I'm only level 49, I don't think that warping Cadet Challenges is so advantegeous for me at the moment.

Ditto! This is one of the tweaks that will go towards a more streamlined play experience.

At last count, I'm up to 52!

I suppose it's possible although that's not the case with regular missions.

My guess is noon Eastern time tomorrow instead of midnight.

I forgot it up is a "rolling" update.
However, the Daily question can be answered tonight. I'll be up, any way. I'll check.
